This position will report directly to the Senior Project Manager for the area of interest and will coordinate with all areas of the Natrium Demonstration project, as well as other TerraPower internal organizations. The Project Manager will help manage project conflicts to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of products and services.\nResponsibilities\nFacilitate management of project cost, schedule, and scope execution using project management best practices and principles, ensuring adherence to plan and addressing deviations.\nAssist project teams on achieving project deliverables and staying within budget while still meeting scope and technical performance requirements.\nSupport the planning process for the work scope within the control accounts. Work with the Natrium Project Management organization and the relevant engineering leads to obtain the necessary planning inputs. Develop and maintain staffing/resource plans to accomplish the work and adjust the schedule to be resource leveled.\nMonitor and analyze cost and schedule variances using the earned value (EV) data recorded compared to the time-phased budget. Determine root causes and develop corrective actions / recovery plans / variance management plans as necessary to avoid large variances.\nWork closely with the Contract Administrator to ensure that the work performed is in compliance with all contractual requirements.\nEnsure that records on the project are stored in accordance with corporate procedures.\nMaintain the project risk register and ensure that actions are taken to reduce project risk.\nWork closely with Project Management Office (PMO) support, to ensure that work performed follows the PMO requirements.\nKey Qualifications and Skills\nMinimum of 7 years of experience directly related to Project Management or Project Delivery.\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent.\nDemonstrated experience working with highly multidisciplinary and matrixed teams.\nProficiency in project planning, implementation and delivering results.\nWorking knowledge of project scheduling and budget control, EVMS tools and project control requirements.\nProficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, Visio, and MS Project.\nExperience with Atlassian tools such as Confluence and JIRA a bonus.\nExperience with Primavera P6 is a plus.\nStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills required.\nStrong technical acumen, with the ability to understand complex technical concepts is highly desirable.\nExcellent oral and written communication skills.\nThe successful candidate will possess a high degree of trust and integrity, communicate openly and display respect and a desire to foster teamwork.\nJob Functions:\nJob Functions are physical actions and/or working conditions associated with the position.
