Here’s where you come in.\nOur next Full-Time Packaging Lead will be responsible for the Packaging of manufactured cannabis products for customer consumption. As a Packaging Lead you will report to the Lab Manager and lead a team of Packaging Associates in a coordinated effort to provide safe and effective medicine for consumers in adherence with TerrAscend standards of quality and state rules and regulations.\nTo Be Blunt\nYou will be challenged to work tactically to ensure complete and on time execution of production schedules.\nOne minute you will be accurately filling out all associated logs and tracking records.\nThe next minute you will be preparing the room for opening and/or closing of each shift.\nAnd the next minute ensuring team members are completing SPC’s and logging weights appropriately.\nRegardless of the task, it’s critical you have strong situational awareness and EQ as you’ll work within a diverse team in the organization.\nWhere you’ll be planted\nThis position will be on-site at our Boonton, NJ facility.\nWhy TerrAscend?\nJoin a growing, fast-paced organization where your work makes an impact. to the daily production schedule to ensure attainment of efficiency goals.\nVerify that all applicable working areas, tools, and processing equipment are maintained and in good working order prior to the start of each shift or batch.\nClean and sanitize glassware, transfer materials, storage vessels, tools, equipment and working surfaces.\nProduce reliable and precise data for completion of all required batch, equipment, quality, inventory and state mandated seed to sale documentation.\nAccurately fill out all associated logs and tracking records.\nPerform processes with strict attention to quality, safety, and regulatory compliance requirements.\nResponsible for assisting in the managers to steer the team members through each shift.\nPrepare room for opening and closing of each shift.\nKeep equipment in good working condition.\nContribute to continuous improvement of TerrAscend processes.\nEnsure the safety of themselves and other by maintaining a safe and orderly workspace.\nOther duties in packaging department or other departments as required\nEnsure team members are present in the room and redirect to the task at hand when necessary.\nNotify the Lab Manager of poor performance, behavior, and deviations from S.O.P.\nEnsure team members are completing SPC’s and Logging Weights Appropriately\nMaintain a Safe and Productive Work Environment for all Individuals\nQualifications and Experience:\nProduction, Manufacturing, and Supervisory experience is a plus.\nPositive attitude & Self-motivated.\nStrong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.\nAble to push, pull or lift a minimum of 50 lbs.\nAbility to pass a state and federal background check\nCapable of sitting, standing, kneeling, bending, squatting and or walking for extended periods of
