At TerrAscend, you'll have opportunities to grow your career, collaborate with talented teams, and help shape what's next as our business continues to evolve.\nJob Duties and Essential Functions:\nSupervises employees and maintains safety, quality, efficiency, throughput, and on time performance to schedule. \nWorks with the site management team to execute daily production plan, site initiatives, and company initiatives. \nContinually improves all aspects of the assigned area. \nPosition will float between all departments. \nMain point on contact for all staff and vendors during 2nd shift operating hours. \nAssist in the planning and production schedules, ensuring targets are met within given time frames. \nMonitoring production processes, ensuring efficiencies and quality standards are met. Identify or resolve issues or bottlenecks that may affect production output. \nManaging inventory and supplies, includes monitoring supply levels, placing orders through procurement. \nEnsuring compliance with safety, OSHA regulations. \nReporting and documentation, responsible for maintaining accurate production records, preparing reports on production, efficiency and quality. \nDrives and leads continuous improvement activities on key performance indicators (KPIs). \nPromotes development of current and future team leaders in preparation for higher levels of leadership. \nMaintains flexibility to work any shift. \nCommunicate to Management of any facility emergencies or equipment failures. \nOther duties as assigned. \nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nIdentifies and mentors high potential team members to prepare them for the next steps. This includes one- on-one time to have them learn from Experience of doing, Exposure to situation, and Education for skills.\nCoach all team members to improve and understand basic improvement mindset, job duties, and safety. \nDelegates as needed to team leaders to help grow them and balance supervisor workload. \nResolves conflicts between people, shifts, departments, and sites. \nMotivates the team to always hit and exceed goals, pointing out and correcting concerns or issues. \nAppraises performance of employee owners within the assigned area. Gives immediate feedback on performance concerns and frequent feedback on progress.
