The position reports directly to the Plant Manager and is a key member of the plant leadership team.\nWhat you'll do\nManages daily operations of the plant to ensure processes are followed reliably and consistently in production and the warehouse.\n\nResponsible for leading the team in completing the daily customer work orders and the RTS schedule.\n\nPlans and directs production activities and establishes production priorities in keeping with effective operations and cost factors.\n\nAble to think independently to use a high level of judgement to make decisions on complex tasks and problem-solving in production and warehouse areas.\n\nReviews and analyzes production, quality, maintenance, financial, and operational reports to determine actions to reduce defects, inefficiencies, and other nonconformities.\n\nDevelops and implements operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate problems and improve production quality & inefficiencies.\n\nConsults with support personnel on the operation, maintenance, and modification of equipment and processes to improve production and quality of products.\n\nPlans and directs production activities and establishes production priorities to ensure effectiveness.\n\nProvides and maintains a safe work environment and fosters the culture required to sustain a safe workplace for all plant employees.\n\nFacilitates positive employee relations and work environment for the team.\n\nSupports the plant Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) program ensuring compliance to policy and procedures.\n\nEnsure adherence to Standard Work Procedures and Work Instructions for all roles.\n\nFacilitates the deployment and support of standards, principles, and practices throughout the organization.\n\nAssists with the development and implementation of plant-specific training courses and associated materials.\n\nPerforms and/or supports 6S, kaizen activities & events, layered process audits and safety audits.\n\nAble to lead kaizen activities within production teams and varying levels to maintain a culture of continuous improvement.\n\nEnsures compliance with all related quality and safety systems.\n\nWhat you'll bring\nBachelor's degree in engineering or business preferred;
