This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, project management excellence, and the ability to navigate the complex regulatory and safety requirements of advanced nuclear technology development.\nKey Responsibilities:\nProject Management & Coordination\nLead simultaneous project streams across the Reactor Pilot Program and Fuel Line Pilot Facility, ensuring alignment with overall IMSR development objectives\nDevelop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies for multiple concurrent initiatives\nCoordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, safety, quality assurance, licensing and regulatory compliance\nImplement and maintain project management methodologies appropriate for nuclear technology development environments\nTrack and report project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies to senior management and stakeholders\nStakeholder Management\nCoordinate with internal engineering teams, R&D, Procurement, and executive leadership to ensure alignment of pilot program objectives with organizational strategic goals\nManage relationships and information transfer with key suppliers and vendors, ensuring timely delivery of critical components and materials while maintaining quality standards and cost targets\nFacilitate engagement with EPC contractors, coordinating design reviews, construction milestones, and commissioning activities across multiple project phases\nPresent project updates, technical findings, and resource requirements to internal governance committees and senior management\nEstablish and maintain strong working relationships with procurement and supply chain teams to anticipate and resolve material availability challenges\nCoordinate with internal Safety, Quality Assurance, and Licensing teams to ensure all pilot program activities meet compliance requirements\nAct as liaison between EPC contractors and internal technical teams during facility construction and commissioning phases\nRisk & Quality Management\nDevelop and maintain comprehensive risk registers for all managed projects\nEnsure adherence to nuclear quality assurance programs and degree in Engineering, Physics, or related technical field (Master's degree Preferred)\nMinimum 7-10 years of project management experience in complex technical environments\nAt least 3 years of experience in the nuclear industry or comparable highly regulated sector\nProven track record managing projects with budgets exceeding $5M \nStrong understanding of nuclear reactor systems and fuel cycle processes\nFamiliarity with nuclear regulatory frameworks (DOE, NRC, CNSC, or international equivalents)\nStrong interpersonal skills to effectively liaise and build collaborative relationships across all levels of the organization. \nProficient use of Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and Visio for project scheduling, documentation, data analysis, and visual communication. \nHigh computer proficiency and quick adaptability to new software tools, enabling efficient workflow integration. \nExceptional ability to identify root causes and devise effective resolution strategies for complex project challenges. \nDemonstrated flexibility to adapt plans and priorities in response to changing project deadlines and business needs. \nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling clear and concise stakeholder engagement. \nAssets\nExceptional multitasking ability to manage competing project goals and tight deadlines without compromising quality.
