Contractor shall be responsible for: Provide clinical Anesthesiology services. \nProvide comprehensive clinical anesthesiology services including patients undergoing cardiac surgery, orthopedic joint replacement, and major vascular, thoracic, neurosurgical, plastic, ENT, urologic and ophthalmologic operations. \nProvide clinical care of patients undergoing electroconvulsive therapy and diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory, electrophysiology, gastrointestinal and radiological suites. \nProvide coverage as needed for patients in the surgical intensive care, short stay unit, acute pain management services, diagnostic trans esophageal echocardiography for medical and surgical patients, and emergency airway management. \nProvide consultative services at the patient’s bedside if the patient is admitted; otherwise participate in e-consults \nFollow all established medication policies and procedures. \n\nAdministrative: estimated 0.5% of time not involved in direct patient care \nWhat qualifications do you look for?\nYou might be the professional we’re looking for if you have:\nAuthorization to work in the U.S. permanently, without sponsorship.\nGraduate of an accredited medical school with an MD or DO degree.\nCurrent, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.\nBoard Certified /Board Eligible by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) .\nBasic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).\nPrevious experience with the VA is a plus.\nIf selected, candidates will need to complete credentialing and onboarding requirements consistent with VA medical staff processes.\nWhat kind of benefits does Terrestris Offer?\nWe offer outstanding benefits, including health, financial, and retirement benefits, as well as paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, and work-life programs.
