Rooted in the USMC values of honor, courage, and commitment, Terrestris seeks to deliver extraordinary value to the American people by helping the Government become more efficient and effective.\nSo, what will CDL Drivers do?\nThe CDL Driver will safely operate and transport a variety of vehicles and equipment, including heavy machinery, refrigerated trucks, passenger vehicles, and fuel tankers-in support of government contracting operations. While generally our vehicles will not have cargo, when there is cargo, the CDL Driver will be responsible for securing the cargo in compliance with all DOT regulations and safety standards, conducting pre- and post-trip inspections, maintaining accurate logs and documentation, and coordinating with dispatch to meet mission requirements. The CDL Driver will also adapt to changing operational needs, ensure proper handling of specialized or hazardous materials when applicable, and uphold Terrestris Global Solutions’ commitment to safety, reliability, and mission excellence.\n What does a typical day look like for a CDL Driver?\nYou will:\nSafely operate CDL-class vehicles, including heavy equipment transporters, refrigerated trucks, passenger vehicles, buses, and fuel tankers \nSecure various types of cargo in compliance with DOT and company regulations \nConduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and operational readiness \nMaintain accurate logs, inspection reports, and delivery documentation \nAdhere to all federal, state, and local transportation laws and safety standards \nCoordinate with dispatch and operations teams to meet delivery schedules and mission requirements \nRespond to changing operational needs with flexibility and professionalism \nEnsure proper handling and transport of hazardous materials (if applicable and certified) \n What qualifications do you look for? \nYou might be the professional we’re looking for if you have:\nValid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) (Class A or B, as required) \nClean driving record with a strong commitment to safety \nExperience transporting heavy equipment, vehicles, or specialized cargo \nAbility to operate a variety of transport vehicles, including tankers and refrigerated units \nKnowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements \nAbility to lift, secure, and manage heavy loads \nStrong attention to detail and reliability \nEligible to gain access to U.S. military base (U.S. citizen, authorized non-U.S. citizen, clean background, etc.) \nWe will be extra impressed if you have: \nHazmat and/or Tanker endorsements \nPassenger endorsement \nExperience supporting government or military operations \nFamiliarity with load securement standards for heavy equipment \nBasic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting \nWork Environment & Schedule:\nTemporary, on-call/as-needed basis depending on contract requirements \nWork may include extended hours, weekends, and travel \nOutdoor and field-based work in varying conditions \nWhat kind of benefits does Terrestris Offer? \nWe offer outstanding benefits including health, financial, and retirement benefits, as well as paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, and work-life programs.
