Rooted in the USMC values of honor, courage, and commitment, Terrestris seeks to deliver extraordinary value to the American people by helping the Government become more efficient and effective.\nSo, what will Hazmat CDL Driver do? \nThe Hazmat CDL Driver will safely transport fuel, hazardous materials, and government-related supplies between military installations, staging areas, storage yards, and operational sites. Assignments may involve operating fuel tankers, cargo vehicles, or other CDL-class equipment while ensuring full compliance with DOT, hazmat, environmental, and installation-specific regulations.\nThis role is temporary and on an as-needed basis, with work schedules dependent upon operational requirements.\nWhat does a typical day look like for a Hazmat CDL Driver? \nYou will:\nSafely operate CDL-class vehicles, including fuel tankers and hazmat transport vehicles \nTransport hazardous materials, fuel, and mission-related supplies to and from government and military facilities \nConduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT and company safety standards \nEnsure proper placarding, documentation, and handling of hazardous materials \nMaintain compliance with all federal, state, DOT, OSHA, and hazmat transportation regulations \nFollow all safety and environmental procedures while loading, transporting, and unloading materials \nCoordinate with dispatch personnel, site managers, and government representatives \nMaintain accurate trip logs, inspection reports, and transport documentation \nOperate professionally and safely on military installations and secure government facilities \n What qualifications do you look for? \nYou might be the professional we’re looking for if you have:\nValid CDL Class A or B license (Class A preferred) \nCurrent Hazmat Endorsement required \nClean driving record and ability to meet DOT requirements\nExperience operating fuel tankers or transporting hazardous materials \nAbility to obtain and maintain access to military and government installations \nStrong understanding of DOT hazmat regulations and safety procedures \nAbility to work flexible and intermittent schedules based on operational needs\nWe will be extra impressed if you have:\nPrevious experience supporting government or military logistics operations \nExperience working on or around military installations \nTWIC card preferred \nFamiliarity with fuel handling and spill prevention procedures \nPrior experience with tactical or specialized transport operations \nWork Environment & Schedule: \nWork may be performed outdoors in varying weather conditions \nDrivers may be required to travel locally or regionally in support of operations \nPosition may require early morning, evening, weekend, or short-notice assignments \nWhat kind of benefits does Terrestris Offer? \nWe offer outstanding benefits including health, financial, and retirement benefits, as well as paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, and work-life programs.
