(Tour may adjust based on the needs of the VA with proper notice.)\n Contract Length: 4 years (3/2030)\nLocation: Baltimore, MD\n\n Benefits:Health insurance\nDental insurance\nVision insurance\n401(k) match\nPaid sick leave\nPaid vacation\n\nWhat does a typical day look like for the Pharmacist?\nYou will:\nSchedule: Monday through Friday, 9:30 am to 6:00 pm with rotating weekends and holidays.\nReceive, interpret, process, and fill medication orders.\nAssists in drug procurement by reporting needed items to the unit's pharmaceutical procurer.\nReviews the patient's medication profile for any possible drug allergies, incompatibilities, interactions, duplications, or compliance problems.\nAssumes an active role in the professional education of pharmacy students and guided designated programs.\nParticipates in quality assurance audits and drug utilization reviews.\nActs to ensure that Medical Center and Pharmacy policies and procedures are consistently followed.\nThe Outpatient Pharmacist may be required to complete Inpatient Pharmacist responsibilities as needed.\nWhat qualifications do you look for?\nYou might be the professional we’re looking for if you have:\nAuthorization to work in the U.S. permanently, without sponsorship.\n2 years of inpatient or outpatient experience \nGraduate of an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited College or School of Pharmacy with a baccalaureate degree in pharmacy (BS Pharmacy) and/or a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree. \nFull, current, and unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in a State, Territory, Commonwealth of the United States (i.e., Puerto Rico), or the District of Columbia.\nCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.\nImmunization Administration certificate.\nPrevious experience with the VA is a plus.\nIf selected, candidates will need to complete credentialing and onboarding requirements consistent with VA medical staff processes.\nTerrestris is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
