Flavor. Legacy.\nThe General Manager oversees all daily operations at Terry Black's BBQ, ensuring alignment with brand standards in service, food quality, and financial performance. This role leads the management team, drives team developmentand is responsible for guest satisfaction, cost controls, and operational consistency.\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nHires and trains restaurant staff.\nOrganizes and oversees the staff schedules.\nConducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive. \nHandles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with restaurant policy.\nDuties/Responsibilities:\nOversees food preparation, ensuring compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.\nEnsures customer satisfaction with all aspects of the restaurant and dining experience.\nHandles customer complaints, resolving issues in a diplomatic and courteous manner.\nEnsures compliance with alcoholic beverage regulations.\nEstimates food and beverage costs.\nManages inventory and purchases food and supplies.\nConducts daily inspection of restaurant and equipment to ensure compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.\nPeriodically evaluates restaurant equipment for repairs and maintenance, schedules for service.\nMaintains sales records and tracks cash receipts.\nPrepares and submits operations reports and other documentation requested by the company leadership.\nPerforms other duties as assigned. \nRequired Skills/Abilities:\nStrong supervisory and leadership skills.\nExcellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.\nExcellent time management skills.\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail.\nFamiliarity with food handling, safety, and other restaurant guidelines.\nProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.\nMost Desired Characteristics:\nSales driven and results oriented.\nPassion for people while upholding company standards.\nAdaptability is a must in an ever-changing environment.\nCreates a positive winning culture for the team.\nLeads through dynamic leadership bringing energy and inspiration to the team.\nConsistently seeks pathways to improve sales and cost of goods.\nEducation and Experience:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nPrevious restaurant experience required; management experience preferred.\nSuccessful completion of the corporate training program required.\nPhysical Demands:\nLifting and Moving up to 75 pounds\nStanding for extended periods of time\nWorking Conditions:\nFast Paced\nHigh Energy\nHot and loud environments \nHot surfaces, cleaning chemicals, Exposure to wet floors and sharp objects\nSafety Requirements:\nPPE\n**This job description provides a general outline of the responsibilities and expectations associated with the role.
