Ideal candidates are experienced HR leaders who thrive in dynamic environments, enjoy solving complex business challenges, and have a proven track record of leading large-scale initiatives from strategy through execution.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES\nAccountable for overall management of the Human Resource function, a customer group, and the associates who operate within the customer group.\nLeads projects, or segments of projects, assuring their integration within Human Resources, the business, and corporation, as appropriate.\nProvides guidance for professional development and succession planning of staff and associates.\nMakes recommendations to management regarding HR related initiatives, program changes, and effective cost reducing strategies.\nProvides expertise and coaching in areas that may have legal implications.\nParticipates in organizational development ensuring that systems and resources are aligned to support long term business goals.\nEnsures that Human Resources participate at a peer level on major business initiatives, significantly influencing the design and outcome of non-HR business issues.\nManages other Human Resources professional staff.\nAccountable for decisions with HR implications within the business or business segment, considering and ensuring appropriate process and linkages across businesses.\nMay serve on various Business/Corporate committees dealing with topics such as benefits, policies, worker's compensation, and reward systems.\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree or, equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.\nExperience\nMinimum 10 years experience\nExperience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.\nExperience in design, planning, and implementation of innovative Human Resource and other business plans and programs.\nSkills\nDemonstrated ability to lead people and projects.\nAbility to demonstrate and establish collaborative working relationships with all levels within the organization in addition to working with external customers when necessary.\nRequires in-depth working knowledge and understanding of various areas of Human Resources such as Associate Relations, HRIS, Benefits, Compensation, and associate training and organizational development. \nRequires strong analytical skills, ability to identify, define, and solve problems rapidly, and to think and plan strategically.\nRequires an in-depth understanding of human motivation and the ability to influence decision making in all functions and levels of the organization.\nRequires an in-depth understanding, knowledge, and interpretive ability regarding policies and procedures and the ability to apply solutions creatively within or outside of guidelines.\nStrong understanding and knowledge of state and federal regulations/legislation in the Human Resources areas\nRequires general business knowledge.\nRequires rapid and thorough independent decision making and creative problem solving skills, as well as the ability to accept personal and departmental accountability for areas of responsibility.\nKnowledge and use of relevant PC software applications and skills to use them effectively.\nDemonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.\n-Or-\nAn equivalent competency level acquired through a variation of these qualifications may be considered.\nCertificates, Licenses, Registrations\nPHR/SPHR certification preferred.\nLOCATION\nLakewood, Colorado -
