This role offers the opportunity to work on groundbreaking software technologies, playing a crucial role in envisioning solutions that fill existing gaps.\nManages the success of the software development life cycle as it relates to resource management, software development process management, and project and quality management. Provides technical leadership and direction and influences the overall success of varied cross-functional teams.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES\nManages and provides leadership for the functional group’s development, direction, and effectiveness, adhering to organizational policies and processes and supporting overall business and corporate objectives.\nManage the full development lifecycle of software applications and development.\nDevelops project plans to manage multiple project activities that supports project completion.\nProvide technical leadership to the development teams, mentoring other developers on technology\nHas system-wide responsibility on complex components or complex projects within multiple cross-functional teams.\nEnsures that all modules, applications and interfaces have been thoroughly tested and have been evaluated with appropriate quality management team members. Interacts with and influences internal and external stakeholders and coordinates activity across business areas \nMay lead and coordinate intra- and inter-company projects of significant complexity\nInterprets, executes, and recommends modifications to operating policies on a multi-functional basis; can interpret and recommend modifications to operating policies within the function\nWorks with development teams and software project managers to identify and reduce project and technical risk throughout the SDLC\nOTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nInfluences customer and management at project lead level.\nAssists with the review and evaluation of personal performance for junior team members.\nMay be called upon to solve highly technical, complex problems or to consult for other projects.\nMust participate in regulatory and safety reviews.\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or, equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.\nExperience\nMinimum 8 years of software development experience and 3+ years of team management experience\nRequires experience with mission critical applications, preferably medical products/devices.\nKnowledge of regulatory requirements preferred.\nSkills\nExperience with different approaches including formal Waterfall and Agile methodologies. This includes ongoing maintenance/releases of established applications as well as new applications.\nRequires team-oriented attitude and vision.\nPossesses a highly technical and complex knowledge of one software technology or basic knowledge of several technologies. \nHands-on experience building AI-powered applications\nAbility to evaluate, adopt and leverage emerging AI technologies to improve developer productivity, software quality and business outcomes.\nExperience implementing AI-assisted developer tools, coding assistants, or workflow automation\nGuides, channels, facilitate and transfers knowledge of technologies. May act as consultant between various technologies.\nDemonstrated experience on database and web development.\nDemonstrates creativity and takes initiative in problem solving. \nStrong development background, including n-tier development on multiple platforms, interaction with database technology (Oracle, SQL Server), SQA model, Object-oriented analysis and design.\nExperience in one or more modern programming languages such as C#, Go, Java, or similar, with the ability to effectively work across multiple languages and technology stacks.\nExperience with modern cloud platform and event-driven architectures, microservices, and CI/CD strongly preferred.\nExperience using risk analysis and mitigation methodologies.\nKnowledge and use of relevant PC software applications and skills to use them effectively.\nDemonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.\nExcellent leadership capabilities; teamwork orientation; strong business acumen and impeccable integrity\nDecisive, resourceful, and well adapted to working in a cross-functional environment\nWell-developed interpersonal skills across multiple cultures, levels of seniority, and internal departments\nAbility to communicate complex technical content effectively both verbal and written\nDemonstrated project management/leadership\n-Or-\nAn equivalent competency level acquired through a variation of these qualifications may be considered.\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS.\nTypical Office Environment requirements include: reading, speaking, hearing, close vision, traverse, bending, sitting, and occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.\nAdditional Physical Requirements\nHybrid Position requiring 3 days per week in person at the Lakewood, CO Headquarters, and additional days required to perform the role\n\nTarget Pay Range: $154,300.00 to $192,900.00 - Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data\nTarget Bonus on Base: 15.0\nWe anticipate this requisition will be open for a minimum of five days, from 08/07/2026 .
