Understanding about sprockets and chains.\nMust be able to troubleshoot and ensure the safe operational status of all forklifts and yard hostlers.\nMust provide the necessary tools and instruments to independently perform any tasks at hand.\nPerform all repairs on belt conveyors, roller conveyors, turn tables, and paint sprayers both airless and diaphragm pumps, Inspect/replace belts, hoses, and pipes as needed and other warehouse power equipment to ensure availability and safe operation.\nCarry out preventive maintenance programs for all machines and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient operation.\nMust maintain a daily work log on repairs on all equipment.\nMaintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area, overall cleanliness, and organization of the maintenance cage.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nComply with OSHA and MSDS standards.\nUnderstand levels of line downtime caused by equipment issues and associated points of cause.\nAssist in the inspection and upkeep of machinery and equipment\nAdhering to all safety policies, including proper LOTO procedures.\nChecking for proper guarding of all machinery in departments daily.\nLook for any visible wear or defects on machinery daily.\nChecking for proper oil level & proper lubrication of all machines.\nMaintaining all machinery and repairing machinery promptly.
