tesa’s digital ambitions.\nWe are looking for an experienced SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Consultant with a strong mix of functional consulting and hands-on development skills.\nThis position is ideal for a hybrid SAP MDG professional who can translate business requirements into robust functional designs and implement them technically.\nWhat you will need\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and implement SAP MDG solutions across relevant master data domains\nAnalyze business requirements and translate them into MDG functional concepts and technical implementations\nConfigure MDG data models, change requests, workflows, validations, and derivations\nDevelop MDG enhancements using ABAP / ABAP OO (BAdIs, custom logic, UI adjustments)\nSupport integration of SAP MDG with S/4HANA and connected systems\nCollaborate with business users, functional consultants, and technical teams\nSupport testing, documentation, and go-live activities.\nOversee creation and maintenance of automated test cases.\nRun and monitor automated test cycles, defects, and follow-up.\nMaintain clear oversight of the automation portfolio.\nKey Skills & Expertise\nMinimum Requirements\n5+ years’ experience in SAP MDG (Material, BP and finance) with S/4HANA\nHands-on functional consulting experience (process design, configuration, governance concepts) \nHands-on development experience in SAP MDG (ABAP, enhancements, BAdIs) \nExperience with: \nMDG data modeling (standard + extension)\nUI Configuration\nRule-based workflows\nChange Request processing & governance\nValidations and Derivations\nABAP / ABAP OO\nCDS Views and API-based integration or Odata\nDQM\nDRF (IDoc / SOA)\nMass Processing and Consolidation\nField PropertiesStrong understanding of master data governance and data quality principles \nGood communication skills and ability to work with both business and technical stakeholders\nExcellent communication, facilitation, and consulting skills.\nHigh level of ownership, assertiveness, and a driver for continuous improvement.\nDegree in computer science, IT, business informatics, or a related field.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nKnowledge of Fiori / MDG UI / UI5 / Webdynpro\nExperience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) in MDG or integration scenarios \nKnowledge of BRF+ or DQM, Rule-based workflows, or complex integration scenarios \nExperience in international or global template
