Why this role?

Are you passionate about using commercial expertise to create better outcomes for customers? As a Commercial Manager, you'll help shape the future of Tesco's self-service banking proposition, balancing commercial performance with customer needs. From enhancing customer journeys and driving innovation to developing revenue growth strategies, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference while working in a collaborative, agile environment that supports your development and growth.

What you’ll be doing

  • Drive revenue growth across in-store channels through commercial analysis, forecasting, and performance optimisation.
  • Own financial planning and performance management for the ATM value stream, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and P&L support.
  • Deliver data-driven insights and market intelligence to support strategic decision-making and identify growth opportunities.
  • Develop business cases and lead initiatives that improve profitability, enhance customer propositions, and optimise business performance.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships across Finance and the wider business, providing leadership through effective people and matrix management.
  • Uploading, validating and maintaining supplier data within commercial models that support strategic decision-making and drive business performance.

What we’re looking for (minimum criteria)

  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, and driving revenue growth.
  • Advanced analytical skills, including Excel modelling and the use of Power BI (or similar) to deliver actionable business insights.
  • Experience building business cases and using data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Technology, and external partners.
  • Proven track record of identifying opportunities to improve business performance, customer outcomes, and profitability.

And if you have any of these, even better

  • Experience within Financial Services, Payments, Banking, or a similarly regulated commercial environment is advantageous.

We welcome applications from everyone. If you’re excited about this role but your experience doesn’t align perfectly with every requirement, we’d still love to hear from you.

What’s in it for you

  • A generous pension, with up to 7.5% employer contribution, depending on what you put in.
  • Private Medical Insurance (WL2+) and virtual GP Service for you and your family.
  • Performance related annual bonus.
  • 7.2 weeks holiday, with the opportunity to buy more.
  • Colleague Clubcard discount (10-15% + second card to share with someone else).
  • Enhanced parental leave.
  • Opportunities to Save and Buy as you earn.
  • A place to get on - take advantage of our ongoing learning opportunities to help you achieve the job and career you want.
