Click Here to find out more!\nAnnual bonus scheme of up to 20% of base salary\nHoliday starting at 25 days plus a personal day (plus Bank holidays)\nPrivate medical insurance\n26 weeks maternity and adoption leave (12 months service required at the qualifying date) at full pay, followed by 13 weeks of Statutory Maternity Pay or Statutory Adoption Pay, we also offer 6 weeks fully paid paternity leave\nFree 24/7 virtual GP service, Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) for you and your family, free access to a range of experts to support your mental wellbeing\nThe above information is a shortened summary, refer to our policies for full details \nYou will be responsible for\nProviding technical leadership within the DevSecOps squad.\nMaintaining cloud platforms to high standards of reliability, security and recoverability.\nInfluencing systems design decisions and reviewing technical proposals.\nDriving continuous improvements in DevSecOps processes and tooling.\nWorking with Cyber Security and other stakeholders to implement security enhancements.\nChampioning platform automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), observability and engineering excellence.\nCollaborating with software engineers, architects, security specialists and product teams.\nPromoting self-service capabilities and automation solutions.\nBalancing strategic thinking with hands-on technical delivery.\nMentoring and supporting colleagues where required.\nSupporting and administering cloud platforms and central developer tooling, including GitHub and Splunk.\nYou will need\nStrong experience in cloud platform engineering, with expertise in AWS, Azure or both.\nExperience designing, implementing and supporting cloud infrastructure.\nKnowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Terraform.\nStrong understanding of cyber security principles and secure platform design.\nExperience with automation, observability and systems reliability engineering practices.\nAbility to influence technical decisions and collaborate across multiple teams.\nExcellent stakeholder management, communication and collaboration skills.\nExperience working in agile engineering environments.\nA proactive approach to continuous improvement, platform standardisation and reducing technical debt.\nExperience supporting developer tooling and engineering platforms would be advantageous.\nAbout us\nA 50-50 joint venture between Tesco and VMO2 that was established back in 2003, Tesco Mobile has gone from strength to strength as we’ve launched into new services and markets.
