This includes ensuring new features are clearly understood in terms of scope, value, cost, resources, and design, and that work is appropriately prioritised and resourced. The role will provide clear visibility of progress, risks, and dependencies, helping teams stay aligned and unblocked.\nThe TPM will also support the implementation of GDPR, security, testing, and disaster recovery requirements, ensuring these are appropriately considered across the programme.\nIn this role I:\n Deliver complex programmes with multiple business and technical risks that will impact the success of key Tesco business priorities\n Apply and improve existing delivery approaches to deliver the programme goals\n Initiate and shape programmes with ambiguous scope and uncertain delivery approach\n Create and track a plan to deliver the programme goals, including the technical implementation plan\n Understand trade-offs in software delivery, using experience and influencing skills to drive consensus with the Engineering and Product teams to obtain the best value and solution\n Foresee potential risks and issues, establish a process, facilitate discussion and manage escalations\n Act on opportunities to adopt trends and new concepts in programme and product delivery\n Understand a technical architecture to be able to foresee the impact on dependencies, delivery timelines and implementation plans\n Have good knowledge of engineering best practices and practical infrastructure implementations to appreciate delivery challenges\n Understand technology concepts, grasp new ones quickly and appreciate their implications on delivery\n Effectively co-ordinate incidents in the colleague space, ensuring stakeholders are updated with the right information to drive the correct decisions\n You will need\nAn ideal candidate will have:\n A proven record of accomplishment in delivering technology and/or infrastructure; having done so across multiple teams in multiple geographies\n Experience of building credible relationships and influencing senior management & leadership teams\n Strong Project, Stakeholder & Programme management skills\n Excellent communication & influencing skills\n About us\nYou might know us as a supermarket, technology company or even for our award-winning mobile network.
