We take pride in fostering a culture that values family, professional growth, and long-term career development-setting us apart from other services companies.\nRequirements\nTesla Laboratories is seeking a Civil Engineer to support Design Technical Support (DTS) services for the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Northwest (NAVFAC NW), Planning Design and Construction Directorate, Design Division (PDC4). This position supports the existing NAVFAC workforce and provides increased capability for Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build projects and associated efforts undertaken by NAVFAC Northwest customers within the NAVFAC Northwest Area of Responsibility (Puget Sound area).\nPerform civil engineering tasks, including:\nSite layout and grading design.\nDesign of water and sanitary sewer systems.\nStormwater calculations and design.\nProficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.\nIn addition, the Civil Engineer will:\nCoordinate with team members to execute project scope, create/manage schedules, and track/brief budget execution in conformance with project and customer requirements.\nCreate project technical dashboard reports via Microsoft software (Power BI, Project, Excel, etc.).\nFacilitate the minimization of project delays by providing technical reviews and recommendations within predetermined timeframes.\nResearch codes, guidance, policies, procedures, processes, criteria, and federal laws/regulations, and provide sound technical recommendations both verbally and in writing.\nApply innovative technical principles, practices, and theories to the resolution of technical issues.\nCoordinate with the Government client, NAVFAC team members, leadership, project stakeholders, and various regulatory agencies.\nCoordinate and facilitate meetings, make recommendations based on project requirements, coordinate workflow processes, schedule/coordinate Plans of Action and Milestones (POAMs), and effectively communicate findings to project personnel;
