Helping millions take back control of their online security, privacy, and data.\n\nMain Responsibilities\n\nYou will contribute as a team member to the development effort for NordVPN for Android devices.\n\nThis includes interacting with our existing backend REST APIs, providing feedback based on mobile needs, and working with our web, backend, and low-level teams to build new features and enhance the quality of existing ones.\n\nYou will also coordinate with our Product Owners and QA/Support team to ensure our Android apps consistently retain a high quality standard.\n\nDebug and resolve issues reported by users and internal testing teams.\n\nBe a part of a large development team that consists of engineers with a Kotlin background and QAs.\n\nStay up to date with cutting-edge tools, patterns, and methodologies to ensure excellent quality of the code. It’s all about that code!\n\nRequirements\n\nAt least 1+ year of Android development.\n\nFluent with Kotlin, MVVM Clean architecture, Room or SQLite databases, and reactive programming libraries such as Coroutines, RxJava.\n\nKnowledge of the latest trends and libraries in the Android ecosystem such as Jetpack Compose, Hilt.\n\nExperience with debugging tools and solving problems reported by users.\n\nExperience in writing unit and UI tests.\n\nExcellent knowledge of Android APIs and SDK.\n\nExperience working with large codebases.\n\nNice to have\n\nNetworking knowledge - OSI Stack, previous experience in developing VPN solutions;\n\nExperience with the Android TV ecosystem;\n\nExperience with the agile methodology;\n\nDon't worry if you don't tick all the boxes we would still be interested in hearing from you!\n\nCompany offers\n\nSharpen your edge Growth is built into how we work.
