This role does not perform physical counts but ensures that cycle counting programs are executed properly, discrepancies are investigated, and corrective actions are implemented.\nThe position serves as the central point of control for inventory integrity, working cross-functionally with warehouse operations, purchasing, and finance to maintain accurate, auditable inventory records.\nThis position is located on-site in Hunt Valley, MD.\nKey Responsibilities\nCycle Count Program Management\nDevelop, maintain, and monitor ABC cycle counting programs across all warehouse locations\nSchedule and assign counts to site teams\nEnsure adherence to cycle count frequency and completion targets\nAudit count results for accuracy and compliance with SOPs\nTrack and report count completion and accuracy KPIs\nInventory Discrepancy Research & Resolution\nInvestigate inventory variances using system data (transactions, adjustments, history)\nPerform root cause analysis (RCA) on discrepancies\nPartner with warehouse teams to validate findings and implement corrections\nRecommend and track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)\nIdentify trends and systemic issues impacting inventory accuracy\nSystem & Data Management\nMaintain inventory accuracy within NetSuite and RF-SMART\nReview and approve inventory adjustments in accordance with company policy\nEnsure proper use of:\nLot control\nBin management\nTransaction integrity\nSupport master data accuracy (item setup, bins, units of measure)\nReporting & Analytics\nProduce weekly and monthly inventory reports including:\nAccuracy % by location\nShrink / variance reporting\nCycle count completion rates\nBuild dashboards to monitor:\nHigh-risk SKUs\nRepeated variances\nLocation performance\nProvide actionable insights to leadership\nProcess Improvement\nIdentify opportunities to improve:\nInventory accuracy\nCycle count efficiency\nWarehouse processes impacting inventory\nDevelop and maintain inventory control SOPs\nStandardize processes across all locations\nSupport system enhancements and testing\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nPartner with:\nWarehouse Managers\nOperations Leadership\nPurchasing & Supply Chain\nFinance / Accounting\nProvide guidance and training to site teams on:\nCycle count procedures\nInventory best practices\nCompliance expectations\nRequired Qualifications\n2 - 4 years of inventory control experience in a distribution or warehouse environment\nExperience managing multi-site inventory operations\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nAdvanced Excel / data analysis skills\nExperience with ERP/WMS systems\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with NetSuite and RF-SMART\nKnowledge of:\nABC cycle counting\nRoot Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies\nInventory accounting principles\nExperience building dashboards or reporting tools\nCompensation: $23.00 -
