Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Work with enterprise security, infrastructure, and engineering teams to understand deployment requirements and translate them into working systems.
• Build and operate serving and sandbox platforms for agents, internal services, and customer applications.
• Develop infrastructure-as-code, declarative deployment configurations, provisioning services, and control planes that create and manage tenant and application environments safely.
• Design and debug networking, ingress and edge routing, DNS, TLS, workload identity, secrets, and service-to-service security.
• Operate the data and artefact foundations behind the platform, including relational databases, object storage, container registries, and deployment metadata.
• Own backup, point-in-time recovery, restore verification, capacity planning, and disaster-recovery readiness for critical data systems.
• Improve continuous delivery from reproducible image and chart builds through staged deployment, health checks, promotion, and rollback.
• Build observability, SLOs, capacity controls, and incident-response tooling across clusters, services, sandboxes, and customer workloads.
• Improve reliability, startup performance, resource efficiency, and cost without weakening isolation or security.
• Support hosted and customer-controlled deployment patterns while keeping the operational model consistent and auditable.
• Debug complex production issues across application code, containers, Kubernetes, cloud services, and customer networks, then remove the underlying class of failure.
• Collaborate closely with Platform and Product engineers so agent and product capabilities have a secure, dependable place to run.
• Travel within India when working alongside a customer's engineering team will accelerate a deployment or resolve a production constraint.

Requirements:

• 5-12 years of software or infrastructure engineering experience. We will make exceptions for exceptional people in either direction.
• Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containers in production, including scheduling, networking, security, deployment, and failure diagnosis.
• Strong experience with a major cloud platform, including managed compute and container orchestration, databases, object storage, identity, and networking.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and delivery systems, including state management, drift detection, container build pipelines, and progressive deployment or rollback workflows.
• Strong systems fundamentals across Linux, networking, DNS, TLS, IAM, databases, storage, and distributed systems.
• The ability to write maintainable production software rather than treating infrastructure as configuration alone.
• Experience building observability and operating production systems through incidents, capacity changes, and reliability improvements.
• A security-minded approach to tenant isolation, credentials, access control, software supply chains, and customer data.
• AI-native. You use coding agents and modern models as a force multiplier while still owning the architecture and understanding every critical operational decision.
• A generalist mindset. Your primary programming language matters less than raw engineering ability, systems taste, AI fluency, and range across the stack. We work as a team of generalists and use coding agents daily.
• Clear communication and high EQ. You can work with a customer's CTO, security team, and infrastructure engineers without losing technical depth.
• Comfort with startup ambiguity, broad ownership, and regular customer travel.
