This production, management, and supervisory position is accountable for delivering projects on time and within budget, and reports to an architect in a leadership role responsible for a business sector.\nResponsibilities\nMeet Directly with the client to analyze goals and conceive and develop architectural solutions to those goals.\nPlan the project budget, milestones, and schedule and track project performance accordingly.\nInitiate and create schematic designs and plans with responsibility for the preparation of drawings.\nCoordinate workload through design development and construction document phases to complete documents on schedule.\nDirect and coordinate with the engineering disciplines and third-party equipment vendors, reviewing construction documents for area of conflict with all disciplines.\nWrite or edit the owner provided architectural specifications.\nPlan, initiate, and run project meetings, setting agenda’s, and issuing meeting minutes.\nEnsure code and accessibility compliance utilizing several competing and often conflicting building, life safety, health and accessibility codes.\nCoordinates addendum, ASI, RFIs, WCPRs and Change orders and is responsible to incorporate agreed upon changes into the project documents.\nAnalyze and negotiate pay applications and change orders.\nReport project completion for billing, approve invoices, and lead any necessary collections activities.\nProvide supervision and guidance to others assigned to facilitate the delivery of a project.\nExamples of job responsibilities are not intended to be all inclusive. Ability to speak and write clearly and concisely, to relate well to others at all levels, and use diplomacy and tact.\nPlanning and organization skills --ability to start and complete projects independently, using time effectively and efficiently, and managing multiple priorities.\nAbility to juggle multiple priorities-working closely with numerous owner representatives and their clients on different projects simultaneously.\nAbility to cope with change, can shift gears comfortably, can decide and act without having the total picture, can comfortably handle risk and uncertainty.\nAbility to move between running projects independently or through a team and participating in projects under the leadership of others.\nAbility to traverse uneven terrain, climb steps or ladder, and tolerate airborne environmental nuisances associated with building construction sites.\nAbility to visually survey, measure and assess project site, site elements, and project while under construction.\nAn employee shall not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace.\nRequirements\nLicensed architect in at least one state in the U.S.\nClient management experience required.\nProject leadership and management experience required.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Project Schedule).\nProficiency with Deltek project and resource management tools preferred.\nRevit knowledge beneficial.\nLEED credentials preferred.\nNCARB certified and eligible for reciprocal licensing in other states preferred.\nEquivalent combinations of education and experience will be
