The\nenvironment leverages Microsoft 365 security services, including Defender for\nOffice 365, Defender for Cloud and Defender for Endpoint.\nThe organisation is\nseeking Cloud Services Administrator to support the ongoing development,\nmanagement and security of its Azure environment. Responsibilities include\noptimising existing cloud infrastructure, implementing best-practice\narchitecture, strengthening security controls and ensuring alignment with NIS2,\nIrish NCSC guidance and public sector cybersecurity requirements.\nThe scope covers the\norganisation's Azure cloud environment, with coordination required with\nexternal ICT providers where cross-tenant integrations or dependencies arise.\n Nature of Services Required\nThe Office seeks experienced Cloud Services\nAdministrator resources, with previous public/civil service experience and\nexperience in engaging with OGCIO support interaction / integrations.\nThe Cloud Services Administrator will assist the\nOffice through services not limited to;\n·Implementing, maintaining, supporting, developing and in some cases,\ndesigning environments which involve Azure cloud-based service components,\nincluding public, private government-cloud and hybrid.\n·Providing experienced skillsets in Azure cloud services deployment,\nsecurity, encryption, identity & authentication, traffic analysis and\nrelated techniques.\n·Working with Azure Entra ID / Active Directory integration and Azure SQL\nServer, or equivalent.\n·Maintaining integrity of high availability network infrastructures and\ninteroperability with cloud platforms so performance is consistent for all\nusers.\n·Confidently communicating with stakeholder teams as required to detail,\nanalytical and problem-solving skills.\n·Architecting and implementing Cloud solutions for BI requirements,\nrelease management and scripting (Bash based on solutions).\nKey Responsibilities:\nMinimum Requirements (Mandatory)\n·Proposed resources must have:\noat minimum of seven (7) years’ experience as a\nqualified Azure Technical Consultant in Microsoft technologies, providing clear\nevidence of supporting similar scale Microsoft cloud ecosystems\noskillsets in Microsoft 365 administration, including\nOffice 365, Exchange Online, Azure Entra ID, and Intune Endpoint Management.\noExperience of working in conjunction with and/or as\npart of public/civil service ICT teams.\nQualifications\n·It is a mandatory requirement, that the Resource\nproposed hold the following qualifications or equivalents:\noCertified Computer Science or associated technology\nqualification\noMicrosoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), or\nmore recent equivalent\noMicrosoft Certified: Security, Compliance &\nIdentity Fundamentals (SC-900), or more recent equivalent\noMicrosoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals (MS-900), or\nmore recent equivalent\nLanguage Requirements\n·Fluent English language skills (C2 Proficient)\nRequirements\nKey Deliverables\nThe following non-exhaustive list of Key Deliverables\nare applicable to this Role.\n·Design, deploy, maintain and support of Hybrid Infrastructure estate\nacross Azure Cloud, Office 365 and OGCIO-BTS federated services.\n·Configuration and management of core component Azure IaaS/SaaS services\nand maintain these across the cloud ecosystem.\n·Maintains cloud ecosystems services, with key contribution to SOP\ndevelopment for internal ICT Support services team.\n·Ensure ICT ecosystem and environment aligned with OMB-ICT and OGCIO-BTS\nsecurity strategies and policies.\n·Clear in communication, customer facing roles.\n·Experience in managing Microsoft Azure ecosystem technologies and\nco-ordination in cloud-native implementation / migration projects.\n·Working in multi-vendor and cross-business unit environments.\nKey Experience/Competencies/Skillsets\nThe following Experience/Competencies/Skillsets are\napplicable to this Role.\nMicrosoft Azure -
