This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical support background who is ready to take the next step into leadership, training, and operational management.\nThe successful candidate will combine technical expertise with strong communication and coaching abilities to ensure efficient IT support delivery, continuous team development, and excellent service across the organization.\nKey Responsibilities\nTeam Leadership & Technician Development\nLead, support, and mentor IT Technicians in daily operational activities \nDeliver ongoing coaching and training to improve technical knowledge, troubleshooting capability, and customer service skills \nAssist in developing support staff \nPromote best practices, accountability, and continuous improvement within the IT support team \nConduct knowledge-sharing sessions and document internal procedures and troubleshooting guides \nEncourage professional development, certifications, and skills growth across the team \nIT Support & Operations\nOversee the IT Help Desk and ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests \nPrioritise and manage support tickets based on urgency and business impact \nRespond to and resolve hardware, software, networking, and user access issues \nSupport workstation setups, hardware installations, user permissions, and software deployments \nEscalate complex technical issues where appropriate while maintaining ownership through resolution \nEnsure accurate logging and tracking of incidents within the helpdesk system \nMaintain compliance with IT policies, change management procedures, and regulatory requirements \nInfrastructure & Systems Support\nSupport and maintain Windows operating systems, Active Directory, Office 365, Exchange, networking equipment, and virtualised environments \nAssist with system upgrades, testing, configuration changes, and infrastructure improvements \nParticipate in project delivery and communicate progress, milestones, and risks effectively \nSupport backup systems, endpoint protection, firewalls, and network storage solutions \nRequirements\n3+ years’ experience in IT Support, Help Desk, or Systems Administration roles \nPrevious experience mentoring, training, or supervising junior technicians is highly desirable \nStrong understanding of: \nWindows Operating Systems \nActive Directory \nOffice 365 & Exchange \nNetworking concepts including VLANs and managed switches \nVMware virtualisation \nDNS, DHCP, and endpoint security \nExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills \nAbility to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical users \nStrong problem-solving and organisational abilities \nAbility to work independently while leading a collaborative support environment \nPreferred Qualifications\nCisco CCNA and/or Microsoft MCSA certifications \nDegree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field \nExperience working in fast-paced, service-oriented IT environments \nWorking Conditions\nOccasional after-hours or weekend support may be required \nAbility to lift and move IT equipment when necessary \nOccasional travel between office locations may be required \nBenefits\n Medical Plan\n Vision Plan\n Employer Paid Life Insurance\n Employee Assistance Program\n 401K w/ Matching Contribution\n Paid Company Holidays\n Paid Time Off\n Paid Parental Leave\n Testronic Inc. is an equal-opportunity employer.
