Internal Developer Portal)and ensuring our engineers have the skills and support to deliver at pace and scale.\nAbout the Role: DevOps Engineer\nAs a DevOps Engineer in Core Banking,you’llplay a pivotal role in designing, building, and supporting the tools and processes that enable our teams to deliver high-quality software at pace.You’llwork collaboratively across engineering, product, and operations teams to ensure our platform is secure, resilient, and continuously improving.\nWhatyou’lldo:\nDesign, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools (e.g., Jenkins,HarnessGit, Nexus, SonarQube, Docker, Kubernetes).\n\nChampion DevOps best practices, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automated testing, monitoring, and observability, ensuring compliance with banking regulations and internal security standards.\n\nSupport the deployment and operation of microservices on both private and public cloud environments,leveragingcontainer orchestration (Kubernetes) and service mesh (Istio) whereappropriate.\n\nDrive continuous improvement byidentifyingbottlenecks, automating manual processes, and sharing knowledge across engineering teams.\n\nEnsure robust monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes are in place tomaintainhigh availability and reliability of banking services.\n\nFoster a culture of collaboration, learning, and inclusion, supporting the professional development of team members and promoting diversity in all its forms.\n\nWhatwe’relooking for:\nStrong engineering background with a deep understanding of DevOps practices, processes, and supporting tools.\n\nExperience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and associated DevOps tooling (Jenkins,Harness, Backstage,Git, Nexus, SonarQube, Docker, Kubernetes).\n\nProficiencywith source control systems (Git), including branching strategies and code review practices.\n\nHands-on experience with cloud platforms (especiallyGCP), Kubernetes, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code.\n\nFamiliarity with monitoring, logging, alerting, and SRE concepts (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).\n\nExperience with test automation tools (JUnit, Cucumber, Selenium, Postman).\n\nKnowledge of messaging and streaming platforms (Kafka) and service mesh (Istio).\n\nUnderstanding ofnetwork protocols, security best practices, and compliance requirements for banking.\n\nCuriosity, adaptability, anda commitmentto continuous improvement and inclusive teamwork.\n\nExperience with network protocols& security.\n\nExposure to large-scale, regulated environments (preferably financial services).\n\nKnowledge ofadditionalDevOps tools and emerging
