They must ensure that any proposed solution adheres\nas closely as possible to the CLIENT’s Architectural Standards and Principles.\nThey should also ensure that any proposed solution adheres to recognised\nArchitectural Design Patterns.\nThey\nmust also provide technical leadership, strategic vision and architectural\ndesign across a broad range of solutions, both public facing and internal.\nProfessional\nFundamentals\na)Technical\nExpertise: Comprehensive understanding of various technologies, platforms, and\nframeworks. Proficiency in designing scalable, reliable, and secure systems\narchitectures that meet business requirements.\nb)Strategic\nThinking and Planning - Ability to align technical solutions with the CLIENT's\ntechnology and business strategic goals and requirements. Analyse business requirements to ensure they are clearly\ndefined and understood.\n·Translate\nbusiness requirements into technical architecture artefacts (including\nDiagrams, Functional Specifications and Technical Requirements)\n·Design\nsolutions ensuring that all solutions adhere to industry standards, best\npractices, and CLIENT principals including implementing security best practices\nto protect systems and data from threat and compliant with relevant regulatory\nrequirements and standards.\n·Ensure\nmaximum alignment with the Target Architecture across all project/initiative\ndeliverables.\n·Work on\nrefining the Target Technical Architecture for the CLIENT.\n·Ensure\nthat the latest Technical Architecture is documented, maintained and made\navailable through the CLIENT’s agreed architecture documentation approach,\nensuring alignment with the defined Business Architecture.\n·Provide\ntechnical leadership and guidance to development teams and systems analyst\nthroughout the project lifecycle.\noWork\nwith the Development Team Lead to agree the technical design of the proposed\nsolution.\noBreak\ndown the development effort into distinct work packages.\noWork\nwith the Development Team to provide estimates for the development effort.\noConduct\ncode and design reviews to ensure adherence to architectural standards and best\npractices.\noAssist\nin troubleshooting and resolving technical issues that arise during development\nand implementation.\n·Provide\ntechnical support to project stakeholders\noAssist\nproject managers in planning and estimating project timelines, resources, and\ncosts.\noMonitor\nproject progress and provide updates to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with\nproject plans.\noProvide\nrelevant and accurate technical input into projects through engagement with\nproject stakeholders.\n·Provide\nfeedback to the Enterprise, Solutions and Business Architects in terms of any\npotential gaps or deviations between the Target Architecture and project\ndeliverables.\n·Monitoring\non-going risks and provide mitigations and resolutions\n·Help to\nensure that KPIs for the Solutions Architecture Team and Technical Solutions\nDelivery team are defined and being met.\n·Working\nwith third parties in the delivery of projects.\noReviewing\nestimates to provide assurances on accuracy and achievability.\noReview\nof Technical documentation and artefacts to ensure correctness and\nunderstandability.\noReview\nof agreed deliverables.\noManagement\nof feedback.\noTracking\nand management of issues.\nThis\njob description is not intended to be a comprehensive list of all duties\ninvolved and consequently, the post holder may be required to perform other\nduties as appropriate to the post which may be assigned to him / her from time\nto time and to contribute to the development of the post while in the role.\nKey\nExperience/Competencies/Skillsets:\nThe\nfollowing Experience/Competencies/Skillsets are applicable to this Role.\n·Experience\nin the design and implementation of Enterprise grade, high performance, mission\ncritical applications and solutions -
