We're looking for an organized, curious Junior Project Manager to help keep that work moving.\nYou'll work closely with a globally distributed team of senior engineers, help turn priorities into clear plans, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks between releases. This is a great role for someone early in their career who wants to grow into technical project or product management in a deeply technical, open-source environment.\nResponsibilities\nTrack engine work across sprints and releases, keeping issues, milestones, and roadmaps current\n\nRun or support stand-ups, planning sessions, and retrospectives across time zones (mostly async)\n\nCoordinate between the engine team, Keet app/UI developers, and QA so dependencies are visible early\n\nWrite clear status updates, release notes, and meeting summaries\n\nHelp triage bug reports and user feedback, and route them to the right engineers\n\nSpot risks and blockers early and help the team resolve them\n\nKeep internal documentation and processes tidy and easy to follow\n\nRequirements\nMandatory:\n1-2 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or a similar role (internships and open-source involvement count)\n\nExcellent written English communication; you can explain technical progress clearly and concisely\n\nHighly organized, with strong attention to detail and follow-through\n\nComfortable working with engineers and learning technical concepts quickly\n\nExperience with issue trackers and project tools (e.g. GitHub Issues/Projects, Jira, Linear)\n\nSelf-starter who thrives in a fully remote, async-first team\n\nPreferred:\nBasic understanding of networking or distributed systems concepts (P2P, DHTs, NAT traversal, replication)\n\nFamiliarity with software development lifecycles, Git, and release processes\n\nSome exposure to JavaScript/ Node.js or experience working alongside a dev team\n\nInterest in privacy, decentralization, or open-source software\n\nAgile/Scrum knowledge or a certification (PSM, CAPM, etc.)\n\nExperience working across many time zones\n\nImportant information for candidates\nRecruitment scams have become increasingly common.
