POSITION IS OPEN UNTIL FILLED\nSUMMARY: Performs general maintenance and repair work on Teton County/Jackson grounds, facilities, parks and right of way.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nEssential functions, as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include any of the following representative duties, knowledge, and skills. Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:\nCleans and maintains grounds, restrooms, and facilities; paints, builds, and installs fencing, mops floor, sweeps dirt, rakes leaves, mows turf, removes snow from pathways and sidewalks.\nCollects litter from grounds and facilities; empties trash receptacles. \nPerforms preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, purchases equipment, tools, and supplies.\nConducts basic electrical, mechanical, and plumbing maintenance and repair; operates tractors, mowers, vehicles, and various light equipment.\nSupports the relationship between Teton County staff and the general public by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with visitors and County staff; maintains confidentiality of work-related issues and County information; performs other duties as required or assigned.\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:\nEducation and Experience:\nHigh school diploma or GED equivalent\nUp to 1 year experience in grounds maintenance, building maintenance, or related field\nRequired Licenses and Certifications:\nMust possess a valid Wyoming/Idaho Driver’s License and maintain an acceptable driving record.\nRequired Knowledge of:\nCounty policies and procedures. \nProper use of basic power tools, hand tools and equipment. \nBasic plumbing, electrical, and landscaping repair and maintenance methods.\nSafety rules and regulations, occupational hazards, and safety precautions. \nRequired Skills in:\nOperating various tools.\nFollowing written and verbal instructions. \nWorking with little or no supervision. \nPhysical Demands/Work Environment:\nWork is performed both indoors and outdoors;
