Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:\nCollects, sorts, processes, and loads recyclable materials; prepares and loads processed recyclable commodities for shipment.\nAssist the public with unloading, disposal, and recycling of electronic waste, batteries, materials for document destruction, and aluminum cans for\nClears litter and debris from Recycling Center grounds and building; identifies and reports building maintenance and repair\nOperates various types of machinery, including but not limited to pick-up truck and trailer, forklift, skid steer and\nMay operate as Scale Operator as requested; weighs all inbound and outbound vehicles; collects required fees and signatures; examines all loads and screens for special fee items and banned items; directs traffic to proper dumping area collect fees and\nMay provide Customer Service support, including answering phone calls; greeting walk in customers; responding to various inquiries about programs and collecting payments.\nSupports the relationship between the Teton County staff and the general public by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with visitors and County staff; maintains confidentiality of work-related issues and County information; performs other duties as required or\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:\nEducation and Experience:\nHigh school diploma or GED equivalent\nUp to 1 year of experience in a recycling center that includes customer service, or two years of experience operating light equipment.\nRequired Licenses and Certifications:\nMust possess a valid Wyoming/Idaho Driver’s License and maintain an acceptable driving\nCPR and First\nForklift OSHA certification, or the ability to obtain within 6\nRequired Knowledge of:\nRecycling center operations; recyclable commodities for sorting and\nPrinciples and practices of light equipment operation and\nSafety rules and regulations, occupational hazards, and safety\nRequired Skills in:\nOperating light equipment including but not limited to forklift, skid steer, and\nProviding quality customer\nApplying basic mathematic\nOperating a personal computer utilizing standard software such as Microsoft Office and some specialized software;
