In this role, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and minimal downtime. Working closely with Maintenance, Engineering, Operations, and external contractors, you will play a key role in optimizing maintenance planning and execution within a highly regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.\nHow You’ll Spend Your Day\nDevelop and maintain weekly maintenance schedules, working closely with maintenance leadership to establish priorities.\nPlan maintenance jobs, manage schedule updates and changes, and assign work orders to appropriate trades through the CMMS system.\nPrepare and coordinate required permits and documentation in advance of scheduled work.\nCollaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and other departments to align maintenance activities with production schedules and minimize equipment downtime.\nManage work orders to ensure timely completion and reduce maintenance backlog.\nCreate detailed job plans for routine and non-routine maintenance activities and maintain a repository of plans within the CMMS for future use.\nContinuously review and improve job plans based on technician feedback and continuous improvement initiatives.\nLead the planning and coordination of annual maintenance shutdown activities across departments.\nSupport inventory management activities, including ordering, issuing, returning, and adjusting spare parts and maintenance materials.\nWork closely with integrated suppliers to ensure required tools, materials, spare parts, and equipment are available for scheduled work.\nCoordinate and schedule external contractors, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with site procedures.\nEnsure all contractors and visitors have appropriate site contacts and escorts as required.\nReview completed work orders and contractor deliverables to ensure quality and accuracy.\nProvide hands-on support with maintenance activities, including electrical and mechanical work, as required.\nPerform other related duties as assigned.\nYour Skills and Experience\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma.\nMinimum 5 years of experience in maintenance and/or operations within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.\nStrong working knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS); experience with SAP is considered an asset.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.\nSolid understanding of maintenance planning, preventive maintenance programs, production scheduling, and spare parts inventory management.\nStrong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude.\nExcellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nCollege diploma in a related technical field.\nBachelor of Applied Science, Engineering degree, or equivalent technical education.\nThree or more years of experience in a Maintenance Planner or Maintenance Coordinator role.\nElectrical and/or Millwright License.\nPMAC Certification.\nMaintenance Management Professional (MMP) Certification.\nTechnical Knowledge & Experience\nKnowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance planning methodologies.\nUnderstanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing regulations and compliance requirements.\nGood working knowledge of SOPs, GMPs, and cGMP requirements applicable to Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, and Packaging environments.\nExperience coordinating maintenance shutdowns, contractors, and cross-functional projects.\nTravel\nOccasional travel between Teva Canada sites may be required.\nHow We’ll Take Care of You\nAt Teva Canada we provide a rewarding and collaborative work experience, with career growth and development opportunities for employees, in a safe and caring environment! The typical hiring range for this position is $70,480-$88,100. The base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, education, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, this role may qualify for an annual bonus based on employment type.
