You will play a critical role in ensuring our facility, equipment, and infrastructure operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements.\nIf you thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and are passionate about leading teams, solving complex technical challenges, and improving operational performance, we'd love to hear from you.\nHow You’ll Spend Your Day\nLead and manage all site maintenance activities to support production schedules and business objectives.\nProvide technical expertise and problem-solving support for manufacturing equipment, including tablet presses, fluid bed dryers, compactors, coating pans, encapsulators, packaging lines, and other pharmaceutical processing equipment.\nOversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.\nMonitor critical equipment and site systems to ensure uninterrupted operations and business continuity.\nParticipate in the site's 24/7 on-call rotation and provide emergency support as required.\nLead, coach, and develop maintenance personnel while fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.\nCoordinate and oversee the activities of contractors, vendors, and service providers supporting site operations and projects.\nProvide training and mentorship to team members and support cross-functional collaboration across the organization.\nManage facility renovations, infrastructure upgrades, and capital projects from planning through execution.\nIdentify and implement reliability, efficiency, and cost-saving initiatives across maintenance operations.\nSupport strategic planning activities through effective asset lifecycle management and facility planning.\nUtilize root cause analysis and best practices to address recurring issues and drive sustainable solutions.\nEnsure all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with GMP, EHS, and regulatory requirements.\nSupport internal audits, regulatory inspections, and inspection readiness initiatives.\nMaintain maintenance records, permits, procedures, inspection reports, and compliance documentation.\nInvestigate incidents, identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and proactively address workplace hazards.\nChampion environmental, health, and safety excellence while promoting a strong safety culture throughout the site.\nManage maintenance budgets and identify opportunities for cost optimization.\nProcure parts, consumables, and maintenance supplies while maintaining effective inventory controls and min/max stock levels.\nReview project scopes, estimate costs, and support budget forecasting for maintenance and capital projects.\n\nYour Skills and Experience\nBachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline\nMinimum 7 years of progressive maintenance experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role within a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, manufacturing, or other GMP-regulated environment\nStrong knowledge of maintenance programs, equipment reliability, and facility operations\nExperience supporting audits, regulatory inspections, and compliance initiatives\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel\nProfessional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation\nSkilled trades license (Electrician, Millwright, or equivalent)\nExperience managing maintenance budgets, capital projects, and contractor relationships\nStrong understanding of facility lifecycle management and long-term asset planning\nProven leadership and team development skills\nStrong project management and organizational abilities\nExcellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities\nEffective decision-making and problem-solving skills\nOutstanding communication and stakeholder management skills\nCustomer-focused mindset with a collaborative approach\nStrong commitment to safety, quality, compliance, and continuous improvement\nHow We’ll Take Care of You\nAt Teva Canada we provide a rewarding and collaborative work experience, with career growth and development opportunities for employees, in a safe and caring environment! The typical hiring range for this position is $110,480-$138,100. The base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, education, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, this role may qualify for an annual bonus based on employment type. Certain positions may also be eligible for a sales commission structure as part of the overall compensation package.
