This is a hands-on, lab-based role ideal for a motivated individual with a strong motivation to develop a working skillset in mammalian cell culture and a passion for complex problem solving.\nYou will execute mammalian cell culture studies under direct supervision, assist in data analysis to affect process decisions, and help develop robust, scalable, and manufacturable cell culture processes for therapeutic proteins. The role spans early and late-stage development to support clinical and commercial manufacturing. The role offers meaningful contribution to meeting program milestones, and exposure to high-throughput bioreactor systems, pilot-scale operations, modern automation and data modeling tools, and collaboration across the biologics CMC organization.\nHow You’ll Spend Your Day\nExecute, analyze, and document mammalian cell culture experiments with strong scientific rationale. \nContribute to the development and optimization of cell culture and harvest process, media, and feeding strategies to improve process performance, robustness, productivity, and product quality. \nOperate and troubleshoot mammalian cell culture systems across scales, including shake flasks, high-throughput or automated bioreactors, bench-scale bioreactors, and pilot-scale equipment. \nUse DOEs, multivariate analysis, data modeling and digital tools to identify critical process relationships and enable data-driven decisions. \nCommunicate conclusions and recommendations through technical reports, protocols, and presentations\nPromote safe laboratory practices, data integrity, high-quality documentation, continuous improvement, and an inclusive team environment. \nYour Skills and Experience\nM.S. or B.S. in Chemical/Biochemical Engineering, Cell Biology, or related field\nClear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a matrixed, multidisciplinary environment. \nAny equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.\nAlso Good to Have\nExperience with mammalian culture, aseptic technique, and/or bioreactor operations\nBasic knowledge of cell culture process and cellular biology fundamentals\nProficiency with statistical applications such as JMP and or SIMCA and practical use of DoE or multivariate analysis. \nHow We’ll Take Care of You\nWe offer a competitive benefits package, including:\nComprehensive Health Insurance: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription coverage starting on the first day of employment, providing the employee enrolls. \nRetirement Savings: 401(k) with employer match, up to 6% and an annual 3.75% Defined Contribution to the 401k plan. \nTime Off: Paid Time Off including vacation, sick/safe time, caretaker time and holidays. \nLife and Disability Protection: Company paid Life and Disability insurance. \nAdditional benefits include, but are not limited to, Employee Assistance Program, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Tuition Assistance, Flexible Spending Accounts, Health Savings Account, Life Style Spending Account, Volunteer Time Off, Paid Parental Leave, if eligible , Family Building Benefits, Virtual Physical Therapy, Accident, Critical Illness and Hospital Indemnity Insurances, Identity Theft Protection, Legal Plan, Voluntary Life Insurance and Long Term Disability and more. \nThe total compensation may also include restricted stock units and discretionary awards, depending on the position offered.
