This role serves as a key liaison between Commercial business functions and technology teams, ensuring that business requirements are effectively translated into capabilities that drive operational efficiency, actionable insights, and business value.\nThe candidate will contribute to the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of commercial data platforms supporting Analytics, Reporting, Master Data, AI-enabled solutions, and commercial business operations. The individual will collaborate across multiple functions to identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and digital transformation, while ensuring alignment with business goals, enterprise standards, and regulatory requirements.\n*This role is 2-3 days onsite at our Parsippany, NJ office*\nThe ideal candidate combines strong business analysis expertise, data acumen, stakeholder management skills, and a passion for leveraging emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI) and automation, to drive business outcomes across the pharmaceutical and healthcare landscape.\nHow You’ll Spend Your Day\nBusiness Analysis & Solution Design\nPartner with Commercial leaders, data stakeholders, and technology teams to understand business priorities and strategic objectives. \nLead requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and validation for complex commercial technology initiatives. \nTranslate business needs into functional requirements, process flows, user stories, use cases, and solution designs. \nAnalyze current and future-state processes to identify opportunities for simplification, standardization, automation, and efficiency. \nCollaborate with product owners, architects, developers, data engineers, and vendors to deliver solutions aligned with business and enterprise standards. \nSupport scalable data solutions across customer, sales, claims, marketing, managed markets, patient services, and field engagement domains. \nCommercial Data & Digital Transformation\nSupport commercial data platforms, analytics, reporting, master data management, and system integration initiatives. \nIdentify and implement AI, automation, and digital transformation opportunities. \nDefine business use cases, success metrics, and implementation strategies for emerging technologies. \nLeverage data and process analysis to improve insights, decision-making, and operational performance. \nPromote data quality, governance, and stewardship best practices. \nStakeholder Engagement & Collaboration\nFacilitate workshops and discovery sessions to gather requirements, align priorities, and build consensus. \nPartner with stakeholders across Commercial Operations, Marketing, Market Access, Patient Services, Sales, Analytics, and IT. \nServe as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle, providing business analysis expertise and recommendations. \nCoordinate with vendors and implementation partners to ensure successful delivery of business and technology objectives. \nCommunicate project status, risks, dependencies, and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders. \nDelivery & Business Readiness\nSupport project execution using Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies. \nMaintain key project artifacts, including requirements, process maps, impact assessments, and traceability documentation. \nCoordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect resolution, validation activities, and solution readiness reviews. \nSupport training, change management, adoption, and business readiness efforts. \nMonitor solution performance and drive continuous improvement through feedback and metrics. \nCompliance & Governance\nEnsure solutions comply with enterprise standards, data governance policies, privacy requirements, and pharmaceutical regulations. \nSupport compliance reviews and required documentation for commercial data and digital platforms. \nMaintain audit-ready documentation and end-to-end traceability for requirements, approvals, and solution decisions. \nYour Skills and Experience\nEducation\nBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, Life Sciences, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline required. \nAdvanced degree or relevant professional certification is preferred. \nRequired Experience & Skills\n5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Product Delivery, Process Improvement, Commercial Operations, Data Management, or related functions within pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or life sciences organizations. \nStrong knowledge of commercial healthcare data domains, including sales, claims, call activity, marketing, customer master, managed markets, specialty pharmacy, and patient support data. \nExperience supporting Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Patient Services, Commercial Analytics, and related business functions. \nHands-on experience with CRM platforms, analytics solutions, reporting environments, customer engagement platforms, and enterprise technology ecosystems. \nProven experience delivering digital transformation, data integration, master data management, reporting, automation, and AI-enabled initiatives. \nStrong understanding of SDLC methodologies and Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery frameworks. \nDemonstrated ability to gather, prioritize, document, and manage complex business and functional requirements. \nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills. \nWorking knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory, privacy, legal, and compliance requirements. \nAlso Good to Have\nExperience supporting Commercial Data Platforms within pharmaceutical or life sciences organizations. \nExperience working with healthcare data providers such as IQVIA, Veeva, Definitive Healthcare, AHA, AMA, or similar sources. \nFamiliarity with MDM and Customer Data Platform (CDP) solutions. \nExperience with AI, Machine Learning, GenAI, or intelligent automation initiatives. \nRelevant certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile/Scrum, or Data Management certifications. \nKey Success Measures\nSuccessful delivery of business requirements that result in measurable business outcomes. \nIncreased adoption improvements across commercial functions. \nSalary Range\nThe annual starting salary for this position is between $124,480 - 155,600 annually.
