This role leads stakeholder engagement, application portfolio strategy, technology roadmaps, and digital transformation initiatives across Finance, Accounting, HR, Payroll, Benefits, Compliance, Legal, and Royalties.\nThe position oversees a portfolio of enterprise applications, analytics, automation, and integration solutions, ensuring they are secure, compliant, scalable, and aligned with business priorities. The role also plays a key leadership role in Finance transformation initiatives, including SAP S/4HANA adoption and modernization of business processes, reporting, and technology platforms.\nHow You’ll Spend Your Day\nBusiness Partnership & Strategy\nServe as the primary IT partner for Finance and Corporate Functions leadership.\nBuild strong relationships with business stakeholders, vendors, and IT teams to understand priorities and technology needs.\nFacilitate prioritization of initiatives, manage stakeholder expectations, and communicate business impacts, risks, and recommendations to leadership.\nDrive alignment across business and technology teams to achieve strategic objectives. Application Portfolio & Technology Leadership\nProvide strategic oversight of the Finance and Corporate Functions application portfolio, including SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP FI/CO, Vistex, OpenText Content Manager, HR and Payroll integrations, Alteryx, reporting platforms, workflow automation, and AI-enabled solutions.\nDefine and maintain technology roadmaps aligned with business priorities and enterprise architecture.\nEvaluate solution alternatives and recommend approaches that maximize business value while managing cost, risk, and operational complexity.\nEnsure appropriate governance, support models, controls, and lifecycle management practices across the application portfolio. Portfolio & Demand Management\nLead demand management, prioritization, and governance processes for business and technology initiatives.\nPartner with stakeholders to evaluate strategic opportunities, operational improvements, and transformation investments.\nDevelop business cases, assess risks and benefits, and support investment planning and decision-making.\nProvide visibility into portfolio status, resource requirements, priorities, and expected business outcomes. Operational Excellence & Service Governance\nEnsure reliable, secure, compliant, and efficient operation of business-critical applications.\nOversee service performance, incident management, release planning, application enhancements, and operational risk management.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives that improve system stability, user experience, and business value delivery. Data, Analytics, Automation & AI\nLead strategy and governance for reporting, analytics, automation, and AI initiatives supporting Finance and Corporate Functions.\nIdentify opportunities to improve decision-making, operational efficiency, and business insight through data, analytics, and automation.\nOversee Alteryx, BI reporting, workflow automation, and AI-enabled solutions, including Microsoft Copilot and other approved technologies.\nEnsure data, reporting, automation, and AI solutions are scalable, secure, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.\nSupport reporting modernization and SAP S/4HANA-related transformation initiatives.\nYour Skills and Experience\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field required.\nMaster's degree or MBA preferred.\n10+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications, technology delivery, or business transformation.\n5+ years of experience leading complex projects, programs, portfolios, or cross-functional initiatives.\nExperience supporting Finance, Accounting, HR, Payroll, Benefits, Compliance, Legal, Royalties, or related Corporate Functions.\nExperience with SAP ERP environments; SAP S/4HANA transformation experience strongly preferred.\nExperience managing stakeholders, vendors, budgets, risks, and competing priorities in a matrixed environment.\nExperience within pharmaceutical, life sciences, healthcare, or other regulated industries preferred.\nExperience with reporting, analytics, automation, application modernization, and digital transformation initiatives preferred. Skills, Knowledge & Abilities\nStrong stakeholder management and business relationship skills.\nStrategic planning, technology roadmap, and portfolio management expertise.\nKnowledge of Finance and Accounting processes and related enterprise technologies.\nUnderstanding of SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, enterprise integrations, IBP, SAC, reporting, and application lifecycle management.\nStrong project, program, financial, risk, vendor, and change management capabilities.\nExcellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and influencing skills.\nAbility to evaluate complex business challenges and translate them into practical technology solutions.\nDemonstrated ability to lead through influence, manage competing priorities, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.\nContinuous improvement mindset with a track record of delivering business value through technology.\nAlso Good to Have\nSalary Range\nThe annual starting salary for this position is between $133,520 - $166,900 annually.
