Whether you’re just getting started or looking for your next big challenge, this is a place where you can thrive and make a real impact.\nThe Opportunity\nWe are seeking an experienced HVAC DDC BAS Controls Project Manager will work as part of a team which will be responsible for the installation, programming, start-up, troubleshooting, commissioning and servicing of DDC building automation systems. This position requires the ability to communicate clearly with customers, mechanical contractors, mechanical engineers and fellow employees.\nResponsibilities\nManage installation subcontractor during construction phase of project to keep them on track and on schedule.\nManage the checkout, start-up and commissioning on BAS projects.\nSchedule Programmer and Technicians after install is finished to program and commission project.\nMust have excellent computer skills and be proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project and IP networks.\nReview and correct submittal documents for BAS projects.\nCreate monthly AIA forms for progressive billings.\nWork with customers to establish successful project schedule.\nAttend jobsite meetings to discuss BAS progress and any issues holding up our progress.\nDocument all construction issues that handle project completion.\nAnalyze problems and resolve issues to ensure the complete system functions properly.\nReview and correction of submittal documentation for new BAS projects.\nMust be familiar with various hand and power tools.\nCoordinate customer-training and complete closeout documents\nProvide technical support and direction to end-users and employees when applicable.\nThe Required Profile\n5 years of experience as a Project Manager on HVAC Building Automation Systems, LON, BACnet, and Niagara Tridium.\nSome flexibility to work overtime/weekends.\nProficient in reading plans, submittal drawings and wiring diagrams.\nBoth written and verbal communication skills a must.\nGeneral understanding of IP networks.\nOccasional travel may be required.\n5 Years of Project Management with Tridium, Lonworks and BACnet Control Systems\nHigh School Diploma, Military Service, and/or Trade School\nValid driver’s license with clean driving history.\nNiagara Tridium AX and N4, familiar with Siemens Talon, and/or Distech Controls.\nOther Skills & Abilities\nLanguage Skills\nAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.\nMathematical Skills\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.\nReasoning Ability\nAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Mental stamina for problem solving and prioritizing multiple tasks.\nEnvironmental Requirements\nWill be required to work in a field environment, multiple customer sites on a daily basis.\nPhysical Demands\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to operate computer keyboard reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is continually required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
