Is responsible for overseeing and managing the initial and future planning of activities.\nResponsibilities:\nProgram Management and Administration\nPlans, organizes, directs, and manages day-to-day activities for the program. \nDevelops and implements procedures for the administration of the program. \nAssists in developing strategic plans and goals to support the program. \nAssists with the development and production of materials designed for the program. \nResearches, develops, and writes white papers, grant applications, and prepares presentations. \nStaff Supervision and Development\nSupervises program support staff, student assistants, and independent contractors \nDevelops and conducts programs including leadership training, conferences, seminars, and workshops. \nField Data Collection\nHelp with logistics and organization of field data collection trips \nAssist with field data collection \nBudget and Financial Coordination\nAssists with yearly budgetary and contract processes. \nPrepares vouchers, purchase orders, and requisitions. \nCoordinates with accounting personnel and other support staff. \nAssists with travel requests and reimbursements \nCommunication and Collaboration\nMaintains and develops communications between partners by attending meetings and conference calls. \nOther duties, as assigned.\nQualifications: \nRequired Education and Experience:\nBachelor's degree in Biology, Public Health or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. \nFive years of related experience in project management, human research trials, etc. \nPreferred Qualifications:\nMaster's Degree in Public Health \nSpanish language proficiency (reading, writing, speaking) at a professional level\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nAbility to multitask and work cooperatively with others. \nWhy Texas A&M University?\nWe are a prestigious university with strong traditions, Core Values, and a community of caring and collaboration.
