Prepares proposals for funding agencies, operations of research equipment. Trains students and other lab/field personnel in research.\nWhat you need to know\nPlease note: This position is grant funded; future employment may be contingent upon future funding. \nSchedule: May have to work on the weekend and/or after normal hours.\nTravel: May travel as required.\nResponsibilities:\nResearch\nDesigns, plans, conducts and coordinates experiments in support various research projects.\nEvaluates, selects, and applies standard techniques of routine research, keeping detailed records of data.\nInstalls, operates, and/or repairs research equipment.\nAssists in planning and coordinating research projects.\nUses computers and laboratory or technical equipment to perform data analysis, statistical analysis, and technical evaluation of research experiments and results.\nEvaluates and summarizes experiment results.\nResearch Publications\nUtilizes summarized results in scientific and/or clientele-oriented publications.\nPrepares and writes proposals to funding agencies and maintains financial accounts related to research projects. \nTraining\nTrains undergraduate and/or graduate students and other laboratory, technical or field staff involved in research.\nIndustry Liaison\nCommunicate across various industry sponsors and vendors to ensure industry trials are on track, meeting target enrollment and expectations, and GCP is adhered to.\nQualifications:\nRequired Education and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in psychology and related health sciences or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nTwo years of related experience in industry clinical trials.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nKnowledge of R, C++, Python, and/or Java. \nMinors in Computer Science and/or Data Science\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nAbility to effectively communicate both orally and in writing\nAbility to positively and professionally interact with clients and staff\nExcellent communication and presentation skills\nStrong interpersonal and organizational skills\nAbility to multitask and work cooperatively with others \nWhy Texas A&M University?\nWe are a prestigious university with strong traditions, Core Values, and a community of caring and collaboration.
