What we want
Serves as an Administrative Coordinator I for Forensic Nursing in the College of Nursing. Provides administrative support and provides public-facing duties for the Forensic Outreach programs. Works under the supervision of the Director of the Center of Excellence in Forensic Nursing, and in collaboration with the Senior Administrative Coordinator.

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two years of experience in office administration.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with administrative support in a University setting.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation applications.
Interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities
Administrative Operations Management
Provides administrative support for the Forensic Nursing programs, in collaboration with the Senior Administrative Coordinator for Forensic Nursing.
Acts as the front desk presence for the center, greeting guests, answering the center phone, coordinating deliveries, and providing customer service as needed.
Oversees planning and execution of administrative operations, in collaboration with the Senior Administrative Coordinator for Forensic Nursing.
Maintains daily office calendar and appointment monitoring.
Reviews and monitors project and program timelines and proactively identifies issues.
Coordinates office records retention and maintains reference materials.
Coordinates inventory and maintenance of office supplies and equipment.
Researches and responds to inquiries about office procedures and processes.
Coordinates logistical arrangements for travel, meetings, and events.
Develops and maintains administrative office procedures, in collaboration with the Senior Administrative Coordinator for Forensic Nursing.
Reviews and signs documents for supervisors. Performs special analyses and project summaries as needed.
Serves as primary or backup administrative support to assigned functional areas.
Support and Coordination
Provides administrative support for Forensic nursing programs, in collaboration with the Senior Administrative Coordinator for Forensic Nursing.
Provides support for assigned faculty members, including but not limited to, support for instructional materials and grant activities support.
Coordinates meetings, conferences, and special events in collaboration with center staff as needed.
Communicates regularly with grant participants.
Assists on special projects as needed for the College.
Conducts supply inventories and orders as appropriate.
Ensures compliance with office policies and procedures.
Analyzes requirements for projects or initiatives. Provides technical information regarding administrative procedures, services, or programs.
Coordinates logistical arrangements for faculty and staff retreats, events, meetings and other special functions for the College.
Compliance and Policy Oversight
Collects and compiles tracking and assessment data, under the direction of the Director, and under the collaboration of the Senior Administrative Coordinator for Forensic Nursing.
Monitors compliance with office policies and procedures.
Analyzes requirements for projects or initiatives.
Provides technical information regarding administrative procedures.
Assists in establishing procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
Performs data entry into database under direction of the Senior Administrative Coordinator.
Prepares, modifies, and verifies documents.
Supports office records retention and maintenance of office references and resources materials.
