Accordingly, if you will now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visa status this moratorium may affect our ability to employ you should you be selected as the final candidate.\n______________________________________________________________________________\nThe Software Applications Developer I, under general supervision, will support PVAMU’s digital transformation by contributing to ERP application stability, enhancements, and routine integrations across the Enterprise Applications environment.\nThe salary is determined in accordance with the University’s compensation structure and will be commensurate with the candidates’ education and experience, within the assigned salary range for this position.\nResponsibilities:\nDevelops, modifies, tests, and documents software applications based on technical specifications. Works under general supervision to support existing enterprise applications and implement new solutions that align with institutional needs.\nCollaborates with functional users to gather and analyze system requirements. Translates functional specifications into technical requirements for system development and/or configuration.\nAssists with troubleshooting and resolving application-related issues. Provides technical support for enterprise systems in coordination with other developers, infrastructure staff, and vendors.\nParticipates in software release planning, testing, and implementation. Assists with creating test cases and validating development changes against functional expectations.\nPrepares and maintains system documentation, including user guides, technical manuals, and process diagrams.\nPerforms other duties as assigned to support Enterprise Applications and IT initiatives.\nRequired Education and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree\nFour months related experience.\nRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nKnowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.\nKnowledge of intermediate troubleshooting, client relations, formulating and contributing ideas, and knowledge of the Information Technology Interface Library (ITIL).\nAbility to multitask and work cooperatively with others.\nJob Posting Close Date:\n10/26/2026\nRequired Attachments:\nPlease attach all required documents listed below in the attachment box labeled as either “Resume/CV or Resume/Cover Letter” on the application.
