Corpus Christi and its beaches are just 40 miles to the northeast, and the border with Mexico is 120 miles to the south at Brownsville or 119 miles to the west at Laredo.\nFor more information, click here.\nPosition Overview\nThe Testing Associate supports the TAMUK Workforce Development Testing Center in providing a wide range of standardized and professional examinations to students, faculty, and the public.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nTesting Operations & Student Services\nSchedules testing appointments and tutoring sessions.\nProcesses candidates upon entry to the testing center following strict adherence to guidelines.\nCloses out exams at the completion of testing following strict adherence to guidelines.\nCoordinates testing materials pre- and post-testing.\nMaintains testing facilities in a neat, clean, secure, and orderly condition.\nCompliance, Coordination & Financial Administration\nCoordinates with testing agencies to ensure appropriate protocols are implemented and followed, processes payments, and reports data as needed.\nProvides support to maintain usage reports and reconcile payments.\nSupports the supervisor in conducting occasional audits of the testing center.\nTraining, Records Management & Reporting\nProvides training for new proctors and testing assistants.\nCompiles testing data and prepares usage reports.\nMaintains records, reports, and files related to students, tests, forms, and appointments in a secure manner.\nOther Duties\nThe above represents the major duties, responsibilities, and authorities of this job, and is not intended to be a complete list of all tasks and functions.
