For more information about joining our team, please visit us at www.texascapitalbank.com.\nResponsibilities:\nDriving the overall operational safety and soundness of the Consumer line of business (LOB), including fostering collaboration with 1LOD and 2LOD to drive risk management throughout the product lifecycle and providing thought leadership to the Consumer LOB.\nRemaining knowledgeable about the Compliance risk domain, including but not limited to Deposit Compliance, in the functional areas across the Consumer Banking, Small Business, and Retail business lines, including areas of cross organizational risk.\nSupporting the Consumer Banking and Retail business lines in identifying and mitigating Compliance and Operational risks.\nManaging Consumer and Small Business Terms and Disclosures processes by tracking necessary changes, working with the Compliance and Legal teams for alignment and approval, working with internal teams to notify customers of changes and publishing updates.\nParticipating in the preparation and delivery of presentations to various levels of management in written and verbal formats, including documenting and reporting risk throughout the risk management lifecycle.\nSupporting end-to-end consumer product development, maintenance, and processes to streamline consumer banking product offerings and ensure regulatory compliance.\nManaging Consumer Governance and Operations Analysts and supporting direct reports’ responsibilities.\nPerforms other duties and projects as assigned.\nQualifications:\nBachelors degree is required\nMust have at least 9 years of experience with a focus on consumer banking, governance, digital banking operations or related field\nSolid understanding of customer journey mapping, customer experience, consumer banking products, and compliance risks.\nAbility to be well organized, team-player, motivated, and flexible with working hours \nHigh proficiency in the use of MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook\nOutstanding oral and written communication skills\nMust be comfortable in providing leadership and guidance on consumer compliance risks to senior level managers.\nAbility to multi-task and be detail oriented\nStrong time management skills with the ability to work independently\nProven ability to proactively solve problems and develop strategic recommendations at a financial institution (or similar)\nDemonstrated ability and desire to thrive in a challenging fast paced work environment\nStrong interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, the ability to work effectively and build relationships both internally and externally\nPossesses excellent decision quality and can make independent decisions\nProven ability to lead people and get positive results through others, requiring in-depth experience of collaborating between staff and team members for best results\nMust be flexible and adjust to schedule and adapt to changing business priorities\nDesired Skills:\nBusiness knowledge - ability to understand the business and knowledge of regulations surrounding the business.\nWork autonomously to affect change - flexible, adaptable to shifting priorities; manage competing priorities to achieve the most effective result and able to work in a fast-paced, results driven environment.\nDecision Making/Judgement - moderate level of independent decision-making using sound judgement.\nCommunication/presentation - excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to influence business leaders in a meaningful and actionable manner.\nProblem solving / Analytical skills - solid critical thinking, attention to detail and analytical skills; able to synthesize large amounts of data and formulate appropriate conclusions\nImplementation skillsWriting action plans, procedures, and recommendations\nProcess development\nChange management\n\n Networking - strong interpersonal skills; strong collaboration and relationship building skills.\nThe duties listed above are the essential functions, or fundamental duties within the job classification.
