We're searching for applications engineer who have the passion and excitement to grow, innovative, take an active role in product definition, execute the characterization until ramp, and provide post ramp application support to customers.\nThis role is responsible for application support for multiphase processor power solutions for data centers. Key responsibilities include:\nAnswer customer questions and supporting design-in activities for released products\nSchematic and Layout Review of customer application\nDebug of customer problems by re-creating issues in our evaluation boards and/or customer boards\nOn-site support for customer board as required\nDesign EVM and internal evaluation boards to support correlation and evaluation activities of new products\nCreate user guides, test procedures and proper release of EVM boards for customer consumption\nParticipate in datasheet review to ensure completeness of datasheet being developed by the Systems Engineer\nParticipate in new silicon testing from an application perspective to ensure robustness of the product (i.e. destructive testing)\nWork with systems engineer to provide support to early design in activities for new products\nCreate custom reference designs targeting relevant applications to be used as customer implementation ideas\nWrite application notes that explain different use cases, implementation and/or flexibility of our products\n Minimum requirements\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, ECE, or related field with 3yrs of relevant experience\nExperience in applications support of analog power products\nSolid hardware and software debugging skills\nStrong technical background, with the ability to produce high quality technical documentation\nPreferred qualifications:\nHands-on experience with analog power products including DC/DC converters\nProficiency with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, signal analyzers) and board-level debugging\nExperience with PCB design and board bring-up\nKnowledge of key end-equipment markets including data center power\nData Center Power distribution design experiences\nStrong background in power electronics simulations and control loop compensation techniques\nStrong technical writing skills including the ability to create application notes or design guides\nAbility to establish strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders\nAbility to work cross-functionally with design, test, and marketing teams\nDemonstrated ability to take initiative and drive results with minimal day-to-day
