Interfaces between internal and external stakeholders when forecasting and planning materials and products. Plans and manages inventory levels for optimal inventory deployment, as well as ensuring inventory meets service level requirements. Drives profitability and customer satisfaction by balancing inventory levels and order fulfillment while managing a sustainable, cost-effective structure. Analyzes demand, supply and shipment trends using statistical tools and other forecast methodologies to identify opportunities, tradeoffs, impacts and risks to revenue and business plan objectives. Provides input to management and interfaces with customers, marketing, sales and production.\n Job Responsibilities:\nCoordinate overall capacity and capital planning requirements for assembly and test in TI Malaysia.\nSupport sites and SBE’s on capacity requirements based on customer demands.\nSupport monthly capacity forecast cycle.\nUnderstand and eliminate constraints in order to meet customer demands.\nWork with LBE’s on action plans related to test capacity (conversions, test time reductions, etc) and test roadmap definition and deployment to close gaps and support all demand.\nDetermine allocations and equipment move/install between buildings/floors based on demand.\nWork with WPL/IE to achieve best solution for factory (delivery, priorities, pricing, etc).\nProvide expertise, information, and analysis to support management decision processes.\nComplex Tasks:\nUnderstand manufacturing capacity models and equipment. \nData Analysis of business forecasts for trends. \nJudge between multiple requests for capacity to determine best use of limited resources. \nMust be able to work on and manage several projects in parallel and execute to commitments. \nMust be able to work with and manage relationships with site personnel / managers and business planners/ managers. \nDetermine the capacity allocation of parts from Assembly and Final Test for multiple business units. \nUnderstand device sourcing, technological attributes and capacity trade-offs. \nMake loading decisions based on demand type, AT cycle times and unit price.\n\nMinimum requirements:\n2-5 years' working experience in capacity planning sector\nBachelor's degree in any relevant field\n\nPreferred qualifications:\nStrong communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively across functional boundaries and with upper management.\nAbility to build and sustain strong relationships with peers in factory, MPO planning, and able to negotiate solutions.\nComprehensive personal computer skills including demonstrated spreadsheet, word processing, statistical analysis, and presentation capabilities.\nSystems planning aptitude and not afraid to learn TI planning systems and tools.\nTeam Player.
