Love your job.\nAs a Product Engineer in the Analog Circuit Analysis Lab, you'll support new technology development, product ramp, and technology transfers by analyzing and determining the root cause of electrical failures and recommending corrective actions to fix the issues you found. You will interact with a varied disciplines such as analog circuit analysis and design, test and characterization, device physics and semiconductor technology.\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nTest setups to electrically verify failures\nUsing global isolation tools such as OBIRCH and EMMI\nUnderstand the failure analysis flow - how to get to root cause most efficiently\nElectrical characterization of semiconductor devices - MOS and bipolar\nElectrical characterization and analysis of analog Integrated circuits\nEffectively communicating your results via a final report.You need to be able to defend your recommendations to designers, process experts, and management.\nBe able to probe internal nets on an integrated circuit\nUnderstand and apply various pieces of equipment used in testing and characterizing semiconductors\nYou'll be involved with many aspects of new technology development at TI and have a chance to make a big impact by finding root cause of failures and recommending corrective actions.The skill set you develop will be broad: interacting with design, test, and semiconductor process experts regularly and learning how to “follow the data” and get from A -> B most efficiently to rapidly find root cause.\n Minimum Requirements:\nMaster's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics or related Engineering field\nCumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA, or higher\nPreferred Qualifications:\nCoursework providing knowledge and background in analog circuit design, semiconductor processing, process control methodology and/or device failure analysis.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nDemonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions.\nAbility to take the initiative and drive for results.\nStrong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.\nDemonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships.\nProficiency with bench level test equipment (i.e., DC power supplies, oscilloscopes, multi-meters).\nExperience with Python, LabView, Spoffire, MATLAB, VBA (excel), C++, and/or other programming
