You are entrusted with the stewardship of advanced semiconductor manufacturing processes, part of an exciting and rapid expansion in North Texas. On D Shift, you serve as the primary authority for production stability, making high-stakes, real-time decisions to ensure that every wafer meets our uncompromising standards. As a Steward, you do not just execute a process-you own the stability, quality, and yield of that process. You will be part of the latest and greatest megafab right here in the Silicon Prairie.\nThe Quality-First Mindset\nIn semiconductor manufacturing, excellence is measured in atoms. This means:\nZero-Defect Mentality: You don't just see a passing parameter; you look for the subtle trend that indicates a future failure.\nPrecision Obsession: You understand that a minor deviation in a CMP slurry or a Wet etch cycle can have massive downstream consequences.\nIntegrity in Data: You believe that accurate data is the foundation of quality, and you take pride in the meticulous documentation of every process step.\nProactive Vigilance: You don't wait for an alarm to react; you anticipate deviations through disciplined monitoring and technical intuition.\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Process Execution & Control (CMP & Wet)\nProcess Management: Independently manage and execute complex CMP recipes using AMAT and Ebara platforms to ensure precise planarization.\nChemical Control: Oversee critical Wet Process sequences using Celleste, TEL and DNS equipment, ensuring strict adherence to chemical concentrations and etch rates.\nStability Monitoring: Constantly monitor real-time process parameters (slurry flow, endpoint detection, and rinse cycles) to prevent process excursions.\nRecipe Stewardship: Ensure all automated systems are running the correct, validated recipes to maintain high-volume production integrity.\n2. Yield Excellence & Metrology\nPrecision Inspection: Utilize advanced KLA and AMAT metrology tools to monitor surface topography, particle counts, and defect density.\nTrend Analysis: Actively analyze metrology data to detect and intercept potential yield loss before it impacts the production line.\nRoot-Cause Support: Provide critical data and observations to Process Engineers to facilitate rapid root-cause analysis of process deviations.\n3. Operational Leadership (D Shift)\nReal-Time Decision Making: Utilize SOPs and advanced decision trees to resolve process abnormalities and system alarms with speed and accuracy.\nSeamless Handover: Maintain rigorous, real-time documentation in the MES to ensure the incoming shift has total visibility into process health and yield trends.\nCore Competencies:\nSafe. Do it safely, do it right, and do it fast. \nAnalytical Rigor: The ability to interpret complex metrology data and identify patterns.\nSelf-Direction: The ability to work independently and maintain high standards during night shift operations.\nTechnical Communication: Clear and concise reporting of process deviations to engineering teams.\nAct as an extension to process engineering: Become a reliable partner for executing process experiments to quickly determine root cause, enhance yield, improve cycle time and reduce holds. \n Minimum Requirements:\nHigh School diploma/GED\n\n18 years of age or older\n\nOne of the following:\n2 years of semiconductor experience as Technician OR\n\n8 years of non-semiconductor/military Technician experience\n\nAbility to work 12 hour compressed work schedule\n\nFlexible to work day or night shift that will include one weekend shift and holidays\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nStrong data compilation and visualization skills using tools such as Excel, Tibco Spotfire, Power BI or equivalent. \n3-5 years of process engineering technician experience in high-volume, high-precision, automated 300 mm semiconductor fab including lot holds disposition, process tuning, SPC monitoring. \nHands-on experience in process execution using AMAT, Ebara, TEL, DNS, or KLA systems.\nExperience writing metrology and defect inspection recipes on KLA and AMAT platforms on shift for troubleshooting and new product inspection setup. \nWhy Join Us?
