You will see how internal audit connects accounting, finance, operations, and risk management.\nWorking alongside experienced audit professionals, you will apply what you’ve learned in school while developing practical skills in audit, data analysis, and business process evaluation. Your projects may include:\nSupporting audits of financial and operational processes, including SOX\nLearning how to identify business risks and evaluate the controls designed to address them.\nAnalyzing data to identify trends, exceptions, and opportunities for further review.\nHelping document business processes and perform internal control testing.\nGathering and organizing evidence to support audit conclusions.\nCollaborating with business partners to understand processes and discuss findings.\nHelping develop clear recommendations to strengthen controls and improve processes.\nPreparing workpapers and summaries that communicate results to the audit team.\nThrough meaningful project work, you’ll build your analytical skills, learn to ask thoughtful questions, and practice translating findings into actionable recommendations. authorization for this position.\n Minimum requirements\nCurrently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related business field.\nCumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.\nPreferred qualifications\nInterest in internal audit, risk management, and internal controls.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.\nCuriosity about how business processes work and how they can improve.\nAbility to analyze data and communicate findings clearly.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to establish relationships and collaborate with people across different functions.\nAbility to quickly learn new systems and processes.\nInitiative and strong time management skills to support on-time project delivery.\nSound judgment and professionalism when working with confidential
