As a Texas Instruments Equipment Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work in a vibrant and dynamic team-oriented environment.\nEquipment Engineer Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:\nStudies equipment performance reliability and maintains equipment \nDrive cost of ownership to optimized performance\nOversees the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment\nResponsible for evaluating, selecting, and ordering equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective for the manufacture of company products\nKeeps current on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades and safety issues\nWork with equipment vendors to sustain and enhance equipment performance from a tool standpoint\nUse data to make intelligent improvements to overall equipment performance\nCompiles and evaluates data to determine appropriate limits and variables for equipment specifications\nProvides technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations\nEstablishes action plans, programs, and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process\nDefines and writes preventative maintenance schedules\nProject management that results in the timely execution of continuous improvement actions that resolve issues impacting fab performance metrics\nSupport teams in addressing fab projects such as safety, quality, equipment availability or efficiency\nProvide progress reports on tools, processes, and goals\n Minimum Requirements:\nBachelor's degree Electrical Engineering, Electrical Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or related engineering degree\n2 years of relevant experience working in a semiconductor manufacturing environment as an Equipment Engineer\nPreferred Qualifications:\nEquipment experience with TEL INDY and ASM Sonora vertical furnaces.\nEquipment experience on thermal processing support equipment (e.g, related metrology tools, vacuum pumps)\nExperience on tool monitoring and interdiction software, and equipment maintenance and documentation\nWorking knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, and SPC techniques.
