Love your job.\nLBC11 Integration demands Epi processes that operate at nanometer precision: adding exactly the right material, at exactly the right process parameters, without disturbing localized films and area. At SMFAB in Sherman, these processes don’t yet exist in production form. You will build them. As a Epi Process Development Engineer in TI’s organization in Sherman, you will own the development, integration, and qualification of Epi for the LBC11 flows directly enabling TI's technology ramp from development to high-volume manufacturing. The Epi processes you develop will run on every wafer at SMFAB.\nResponsibilities include:\nDrive CVD and Epi process and device improvements through characterization, test, design of experiments, data analysis and simulation\nGood understanding of CVD Dielectric Film characteristics and interactions with downstream processes \nExperience with high stress films and corrections preferred\nWork with multiple process, integration, reliability, packaging and test engineers to achieve these goals\nWork closely with the product groups to identify and optimize the performance to meet critical final device parameters to enable game changing products in the market.\nPartner closely with vendors to bring industry changing improvement opportunities to SMFAB in the form of PPH, Improved Cycle Time, Process Stability, and/or Equipment/Process Uptime. \nThe person performing this role must be capable to plan effectively, drive schedules, meet critical deadlines on multiple tasks in parallel, lead technical discussions in their area of expertise, and work effectively across organizational boundaries. They must be able to clearly communicate project status and actions. Additionally, they must be able to interface with multiple organizations and work well on a diverse team to accomplish goals.\n Minimum requirements:\nMaster’s or Ph.D. in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field\n5+ years in semiconductor wafer fabrication for advanced nodes \n3 years experience in Epi or CVD processing on AMAT, Novellus, and/or ASM platforms;
