Love your job.\nTexas Instruments is looking for a skilled Equipment Technician to join our Automation team. In this role, you will perform preventative maintenance, automation equipment repairs, automation equipment improvements, automation equipment upgrades, and automation equipment installation. You will interface and communicate with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to ensure all issues are solved appropriately and efficiently.\nResponsibilities include:\nWorking directly on automation equipment used to run tools in the factory\nImprove system performance to achieve process requirements and eliminate repetitive downs\nMonitor and analyze all related data to improve and maintain tool performance and address all tool related issues\nCoordinate supplier service and repairs where needed\nPrepare the technical report and summary findings and recommending solutions to technical problems\n Minimum requirements:\nHigh School diploma/GED\n\n18 years of age or older\n\nOne of the following:\n-2 years of semiconductor experience as Technician OR\n-8 years of non-semiconductor/military Technician experience\n\nAbility to work 12 hour compressed work schedule\n\nPreferred qualifications:\nTechnical experience with automated material handling systems (AMHS), overhead transport vehicles, POD and reticle stockers, and automated guided vehicles preferred\nSelf-driven with ability to identify and resolve issues to improve equipment performance\nGood troubleshooting skills on electrical/mechanical systems\nExcellent organizational, teaming and troubleshooting skills\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nDemonstrated strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills\nAbility to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions\nAbility to take the initiative and drive for results\nStrong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery\nAbility to work effectively in an interrupt-driven, fast-paced and rapidly changing environment\nDemonstrated ability to build strong, influential
