Love your job.\nAbout the job:\nNorth Texas 300mm Industrial Engineering (IE) group is seeking an accomplished Industrial Systems Engineer to join our team. The hired candidate will be part of the APF Engineering group that plays a crucial part in developing system logic that drives productivity and efficiency at TI’s 300mm facilities in North Texas. This particular position will be based out of the 300mm Richardson site.\nThe desired candidate will have previous experience transitioning to new roles quickly, effectively learning new concepts, and being self-motivated to meet objectives in a rapid paced work environment. The candidate should have a proven track record of working effectively with managers, supervisors, and engineers across different organizations to achieve business goals in a quickly changing wafer fab environment.\nThe ability to visualize, troubleshoot, and continuously improve the complex system interactions at an automated 300mm semiconductor wafer fabrication facility is key to being successful in this position.\nResponsibilities include:\nDevelop automated jobs to optimize lot dispatching and scheduling, material movement, and task automation.\nWork closely with stakeholders to understand and address factory challenges.\nLeverage background data collection and analytics in automated decision making.\nMastery of computer skills and software required of the role.\nAbility to troubleshoot complex engineering problems.\nEffective time management to drive parallel projects to completion in an accurate and timely manner.\nEffectively communicate impact of changes to stakeholders and leadership. \nAbility to assess emerging technologies and software solutions relevant to industrial and systems engineering, and integrate them into our operations to stay at the forefront of industry best practices.\n Minimum Requirements:\nBachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degree\n2 years of experience in either Semiconductor Manufacturing or High Volume Manufacturing.\nAbility to work in a clean room environment wearing a smock\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience developing a workflow solution.\nExperience with workflow platforms.\nFront-end semiconductor manufacturing experience is valued.\nExperience with Applied Materials SmartFactory software suite and/or Activity Manager for Reporting (AMR) or Automation (AMA) is a plus.\nExperience developing dispatching and scheduling logic with Real-Time Dispatch (RTD).\nProficient with Python or Shell scripting\nFamiliarity with Linux server environments and Git version control.\nExperience with querying data with SQL and creating reports in platforms such as Spotfire, PowerBI, Tableau, or Excel & VBA.\nBase understanding of complexities behind material movement using Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHS).\nTeam player - must be able to work effectively across functional and cultural boundaries.\nAbility to build and sustain strong relationships with peers during difficult and stressful situations, while negotiating and driving to solutions.\nStrong communication skills.
